자폐아동과 정상아동의 비언어적 대화 행동에 관한 비교연구

Abstract

본 연구는 자폐아동이 전언어단계에서 표출하는 비언어적 대화행동을 연구해 보므로써 그이후에 발달하는 언어적 대화능력의 결함요인을 찾아보려는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구의 대상은 Leiter International Performance Scale에 의해서 정신연령이 2세 4개월 정도되는 자폐아동과 정상아동을 각각 16명씩 표집 하였다. 비언어적 대화행동을 연구하기 위해서 Loveland가 제시한 대화과제중에서 몸짓과제 (gestural task)와 요구상황과제(requesting situational task)를 사용하였다. 연구의 검증은 t 검증을 하였고, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자폐아집단은 정상아집단에 비해서 상징적, 비지시적 대화상황에서 실험자가 주시하는 자극물체에 대한 주의집중도가 유의하게 낮았다. 둘째, 자폐아집단은 정상아집단에 비해서 상징적, 비지시적 대화상황에서 나타난 대화의지 수준이 유의하게 낮았다. 셋째, 자폐아집단과 정상아집단은 구체적, 지시적 대화상황에서 실험자가 제시한 자극물체에 대한 주의집중도에서 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 넷째, 자폐아집단과 정상아집단은 구체적, 지시적 대화상황에서 나타난 대화의지 수준에서 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다.;The purpose of the study is to investigate the non-verbal communicational behavior pattern of the autistic children in their prelinguistic stage in order to find the deficit in their verbal communicational ability. The subjects were consisted of 16 children each in the autistic and the normal groups. Who scored mental age of 2 years 4 months on the Leiter International Performance Scale. The experimental tool was the gestural task item and the requesting situational task item among the Loveland Communicational Task. The analysis of the data was done by t test with the following result: 1. The autistic group was lower than the normal groups in their correct response to the given stimuli in a symbolic non-directive communicational situation. 2. The autistic group was lower than the normal group in their level of communicational intent in a symbolic non-directive communicational situation. 3. The autistic group did not show any significant difference from the normal group in their correct response to the given stimuli in a concrete-directive communicational situation. 4. The autistic group did not show any significant difference from the normal group, in their level of communicational intent in a concrete-directive communicational situation.
