F. Liszt의 Piano Sonata B단조에 관한 분석적 연구

Abstract

리스트의 B단조 소나타는 낭만주의의 모든 요소들이 함축 되어 나타난 작품으로서 이 시기의 절정에 이른 거대한 소나타 이다. 이 소나타는 조성적인 면에서는 고전 소나타의 조성을 고수하는 한편 구조적인 면이나 주제를 다루는데 있어서는 고전 형식과는 달리 다(多)악장의 요소들을 내포하고 있는 단일 악장으로 구성된 곡으로서 이것은 틀에 박힌 전통적인 형식에서 벗어 나려는 움직임을 보인 소나타라 할 수 있다. 리스트가 주제를 다루는 면에서 볼때 주제적 변형(Thematic transformation)이나 리듬의 축소, 확대 또는 주제의 단편화와 대윗법적인 처리등을 숙련된 기교로 처리 함으로서 그의 작품 기법의 탁월함을 보여 주고 있다. 이 곡은 5개의 주제적 소재가 주제 변형의 기법을 통해 전 곡에 걸쳐 순환적인 형태로 나타나고 있으며, 주제의 성격적인 변형과 발전적인 배치를 통해 극적인 효과를 나타내고 있다. 또한 리스트는 교향시의 창시자로서 교향시의 기법을 피아노라는 어느 한정된 악기에 반영 시켜 오케스트라에서 얻을수 있는 음향을 최대한으로 건반 악기에서 활용하고 있는 점도 특기 할만한 사실이다. 본 논문에서는 이 소나타의 형식구조와 조성구조를 살펴보는 한편 화음 진행과 전조과정, 주제적 요소들을 분석함으로서, 리스트의 절정에 이른 리스트의 작품기법 및 기교를 논하고 있다.;Liszt's B minor sonata is in many ways a culmination of all the elements of romanticism. While this sonata adhears to classical tonal structure, the formal structure and thematic treatment are slightly different from the classical ones. In that sense, this work contains the dual features of both periods. The B minor sonata is a one movement piece in which Liszt has demonstrated his characteristic compositional techniques such as thematic transformation, diminution, augmentation, fragmentation and contrapuntal treatment of thematic elements. In Particular, the cyclical type thematic transformation is so dramatic that the themes representing a diabolic character are transformed into a lyric one. In discussing the formal and tonal structure, analyzing the harmonic progression, modulation and treatment of thematic elements, this study explains the culminated techniques in Liszt's last Period of his creative activity as well as his influences on succeeding generations.
