어머니의 언어형태와 유아의 언어, 사고능력 및 창의성과의 관계

Abstract

본 연구는 어머니의 언어형태에 따른 유아의 언어·사고능력의 차이와 유아의 창의성 발달의 차이를 조사하고, 유아의 언어·사고능력과 창의성과는 어떠한 상관관계가 있는지를 알아보는데 그 목적을 두었다. 이와 같은 목적을 가지고 본 연구에서 밝히고자 하는 문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니의 언어형태는 어떠한가? 둘째, 어머니의 언어형태에 따라 유아의 언어·사고능력은 차이가 있는가? 세째, 어머니의 언어형태에 따라 유아의 창의성은 차이가 있는가? 네째, 유아의 언어·사고능력과 유아의 창의성과는 어떠한 상관관계가 있는가? 본 연구의 대상은 부산시내에 위치한 S사립유치원에 다니는 유아 57명과 유치원 유아의 자모 137명이었다. 이 연구에서 사용된 검사도구는 어머니의 언어형태를 알아보기 위하여 10문항으로 구성된 질문지가 사용되었으며, 유아의 언어·사고능력을 측정하기 위해서는 「유아의 언어 및 사고능력 검사」(주 영희)가 사용되었고, 유아의 창의성 측정을 위해서는 Torrance의 창의적 사고력 검사가 사용되었다. 연구의 절차를 보면 먼저 회수한 질문지를 분석하여 어머니의 언어형태의 점수에 따라 중간집단을 뺀 상·하집단의 유아를 선정하고 창의성 검사와 언어·사고능력 검사를 실시하였다. 검사결과 수집된 자료는 어머니의 언어형태의 전체적인 경향을 알아보기 위해서 빈도백분율을 산출하였고, 어머니 언어형태 점수에 따른 상·하집단의 유아의 언어·사고능력과 창의성의 차이를 알아보기 위해서 t검증을 하였으며, 유아의 언어·사고능력과 창의성간의 관계를 알아보기 위하여 Pearson의 상관관계(r)를 산출하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구의 대상 어머니가 사용하는 언어형태는 지위지향형을 가장 많이 사용하고 그 다음 개성지향형이었으며, 명령형의 사용빈도는 가장 낮게 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 언어형태에 따라 유아의 언어·사고능력의 점수는 의미있는 차이가 있었다. 세째, 어머니의 언어형태에 따라 유아의 창의성 점수는 의미있는 차이가 있다. 네째, 유아의 언어·사고능력과 유아의 창의성간에는 비교적 높은 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다.;The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the mother is communication pattern on the language expression, thinking ability and creativity of the child. The study attempted to answer the following questions: 1. What ate the mother's communication patterns? 2. Does the mother's communication pattern influence the language expression, thinking ability of the child? 3. Does the mother's communication pattern influence the creativity of the child? 4. Is there any mutual relation between language expression ,thinking ability and creativity of the child? For this study, 137 mothers and their 57 children of a private kindgarten in Pusan city were employed. The mother's communication patterns are tested by questionaire, and language expression and thinking ability of the child is tested by it Test of Language Expression and Thinking Ability of the Child" which was developed by Young Hee Ju, and creativity test by "Torrance test of Creative Thinking". First. Mother's communication pattern was analyzed. After examination of the score of the mother's communication pattern, the children of both the high and the low group of the scores were selected, excluding the middle group of the score. Children's creativity, and language expression & thinking ability were tested. Frequency and percentage for question 1, "T Test" for questions 2 and 3, and Pearson's r for question 4 were calculated. The result of this study is summarized as follows: 1. Sample mothers of this study use status-oriented pattern most frequently in their communication, and personality-oriented pattern and imperative pattern of communication come next in the order of frequency. 2. The score of language expression and thinking ability of the children varies remarkably according to the communication pattern of the mothers. 3. The score of creativity is also significantly influenced by the communication pattern of the mothers . 4. There is relatively close correlation between the language expression, thinking ability, and the creativity of the children.
