포괄적 음악과 학습지도를 위한 음악교육실태 조사연구

Abstract

본 연구는 현대의 학교 음악교육이 포괄적인 학습지도가 이루어져야 한다는 문교부의 시책에 의해서, 일정지역 (전북) 고등학교 음악교육에 대한 교사와 학생의 의견 및 실태를 조사 분석하여 문제점을 추출함으로써 포괄적인 학습지도를 위한 학교 음악교육의 방향을 제시하는데 목적을 두었다. 본 연구의 방법은 교사와 학생을 시, 읍, 면으로 나누어 현장 음악교육의 실태는 설문지를 통해서 조사하고 기타 교육관계 자료를 통하여 실태를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 학생들의 음악에 대한 선호 경향은 긍정적으로 높게 나타나고 있으나, 순수음악보다는 대중음악에 편향되어 있었고, 학교음악보다는 대중매체에서 송출되는 음악에 적지않게 의존하고 있음이 분석되었다. 그리고 학교음악 수업에 대해서는 매우 부정적인 반응을 보이고 있었고 시설면이나 교육과정 운영면 등의 여러 면에서 아직도 미흡한 점이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 대부분의 일선 음악교사들이 현행 교육과정구성의 기본배경 이론인 Manhattanville Music Curriculum Program에서 강조하고 있는 학습이론에 관해서 거의 관심이 없거나 알고 있지 못하고 있었으며, 교사들은 가창 중심의 학습지도에서 탈피하지 못하고 있었다. 따라서 바람직한 음악교육이 이루어지기 위해서는, 음악 교사의 재교육 또는 적극적인 장학지도와 다양한 교재연구나 교구의 활용을 통하여 단순한 기능 위주의 주입식 음악 수업을 탈피해야 되겠다는 결론을 얻게 되었다.;The purpose of this study is to present the direction of music education in school for comprehensive course of study through driving out the problems based on inquiring and analyzing the present situation and teacher's and student's view about high school music education in Choˇnlabuk-do, according to the guide line of the ministry of Education that the comprehensive course of study should be adapted to music education in school. The methods of study are as follows. First, the groups of teachers and students are divided into -si, -eup, and -myun. And second, the present situations of music education in schools are investigated and analyzed through the questionnaires and other materials related to education. The result of this study showed that the students' tastes of music appears affirmative and high, but they And it is analyzed that they depend on mass media rather than on school music education. They have very negative reactions to school music education and also, there are not enough in many aspects of facilities and administration of the music curriculum. Also, most of music teachers are ignorant or little indifferent about the learning theory which is emphasized in Manhattanville Music Curriculum Program of basic backgrounding theory in constructing the current education courses, they still stick to the signing-centered teaching method. Consequently, it is resulted that more desirable music education can be achieved through re-education for music teachers, or positive guidance by school inspectors, and escaping form cramming music teaching centered as a mere function can be achieved through variable study of teaching materials and usage of teaching facilities.
