매체활용을 위한 투사시스템과 물리적 투사환경에 관한 연구

Abstract

오늘날 사회가 처한 급격한 변화에 적응하기 위하여, 그 사회와 매우 유기적인 관계를 맺고 있는 교육은 제반 문제를 해결하기 위하여 그 대처방안이 되는 교육공학에 대한 관심을 갖게 되었다. 현대에 와서 급격히 발달된 과학기술을 교육에 도입하는 교육적 혁신인 교육공학은 1950년대에 우리나라에 들어오면서 교육방법상의 변화를 요구하게 되었다. 종래의 교사 중심의 강의식 교육방법에서 벗어나 다양한 시청각 매체를 사용하여 효과적인 교육을 가능케 한 학습자 경험 중심의 교육방법으로의 변화가 그것이다. 시청각 매체를 통한 교육적 효과는 이미 입증된 바 있고 매체 자체에 대한 많은 연구가 이루어져 있으나 실제로 매체를 활용하는데 바탕이 되는 시청각적 시설환경에 대하여는 소홀히 다루어지고 있는 것도 사실이다. 그러므로 매체를 효율적으로 활용하기 위해서 반드시 선행되어야 하는 시청각적 시설환경에 관한 연구는 시급히 해결되어야 할 교육적 과제이다. 본 연구는 현재 교육현장에서 사용되고 있는 시청각매체 중에서 그 보유율과 사용율이 높은 투사매체를 선정하여 교육공학적 측면에서 투사매체에 관한 투사시스템과 물리적 환경에 대해 고찰해 보고 이를 토대로 국민학교의 일반교실에 실제로 적용해 봄으로써, 투사시스템과 물리적 환경의 중요성을 정확히 이해하고 더 나아가 일선 각급 학교를 비롯한 다양한 교육현장에서 매체를 효율적으로 활용하기 위한 시청각적 시설환경을 조성하는데 도움이 될 수 있는 기초를 제공함에 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구내용을 토대로하여 몇가지 제안점을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 현재 우리나라 각급 학교의 매체 활용을 위한 시설환경에 대하여 전반적인 개선이 조속히 이루어져야 한다. 2. 각급 학교에서의 시설환경 개선에 있어 가장 바람직한 것은 학교 건물의 계획단계에서부터 시공에 이르기까지 매체 활용에 적합한 시설환경의 고려가 이루어져 모든 과정을 철저히 하기 위한 기준안이 마련되어야 한다. 3. 각급 학교의 행정가는 학교의 시설환경이 학생들의 성장발달에 중대한 영향을 미친다는 점과 교육의 효과면에도 크게 기여할 수 있다는 점을 인식하여 매체 활용을 위한 시설환경 개선의 적극적인 지원자가 되어야 한다. 4. 정책적인 차원에서 문교당국은 학교의 시설설비 기준령을 더 강화하여 강력한 행정력을 발휘할 수 있게 제도적인 장치가 필요하며, 이를 뒷받침하기 위해서는 정부나 행정당국의 경제적인 지원이 뒤따라야 하겠다.;Today's education relating to the rapidly changing society has increasingly concerned about the field of educational technology in a way to attempt to solve the current educational problems. Educational Technology, which is the one of the educational innovations to introduce the now technologies into the education, was adopted in the 1950's in Korea and demanded the change of teaching-learning method. The change is that straight-lecture method by teacher is replaced by students-centered method based on their experiences using various audiovisual media. There is research evidence that shows the effect of the audio-visual media on education. But the fact is that concern about audiobisual facility environment, which is the base of the media utilization, has been neglected more of less. In regard this, it is necessary to make more researches in the audiovisual facility environment prior to the consideration of the effective audiovisual media utilization. The purpose of this study is to understand the importance of projection system and physical environment exactly, and further to construct the individual' facility environment for utilizing efficiently the media in various educational situation as well as the individual school. The contents of this study are as follows: 1. To select the projection media representing the high rate of maintenance and utility among audiovisual media used in current educational situation. 2. To examine the projection system and physical environment related to projection media in terms of educational technology. 3. To apply this result to the classroom of the elementary school situation. Recommendations based on the results of this study are as follows : 1. It is necessary to improve the overall facility environment for media utilization now used in schools in our country. 2. The most desirable way for improving the facility environment in individual school is to make criteria that takes account of the appropriate facility environment for media utilization from the plan stage of school building to construction. 3. The administrators in individual school should be the positive supporters for improving facility environment, recognizing the influence of facility environment on the maturity development of students and the contribution to the educational effect. 4. The education authorities in the level of policy should reinforce the rules applied to facility accomodations which can be the powerful systematic method to play the important role of the administrative execution. To back up this, financial support of government or administration authorities concerned is required.
