유치원에서의 동작교육 실태에 관한 연구

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the preschool teacher's perception and the actual teaching condition of Movement Education. This study contains six questions : 1. How is the teacher's perception of the concept and the necessity of the Movement Education? 2. How is the actual teaching condition of Movement Education? 3. What is the content and the method of Movement Education? 4. How is the environment of Movement Education and what is the instrument of it? 5. What Is the teacher's role? 6. Is there any difference in according to the teacher's school career and teaching career in each problems. The subject of this study were 200 teachers of 82 preschools in Seoul. The instrument used for this study was the question paper. The method of study was the way of interview and the tool of this study was the questionnaire and the frequency and the percentage was proved by using SPSS PROGRAM. The differences in according to academic and teaching career was proved by CROSS TAB. The results of this study are as follow: 1. 95% of teachers answered children's body control and expression extension about the concept of Movement Education. The higher the school career and the teaching career become, the righter they understand. For the necessity of Movement Education, it showed that the body development is most important. 2. They teach Movement Education more than for 16 minute a day and 3.36 times a week. 75.5% of children are positive. Majority of them learned the content and the method of Movement Education at their university or college life. 3. They teach the locomotive movement most of all 96% of them have experienced recreational movement and have felt interesting in it by themselves. 4. 94.5% of the teachers used class-room and play-room as a place of Movement Education. The width of place is mostly 20 pyeong (58%). Children's dresses were mostly casual wears (56%), 80% of them were satisfied with their actual condition of Movement Education. 5. 98% of the teachers gave their children motivation of movement 79% of them approximately understood children's growth development, 69.5% of them alters their education plan in consideration of children's interest.;본 연구는 우리나라 유치원 교사들의 유아 동작교육에 대한 인식도와 동작교육 실시현황에 대하여 알아보려는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위한 연구의 문제는 아래와 같다. l. 동작교육의 개념에 대한 인식도는 어떠한가? 2. 동작교육의 실시 현황은 어떠한가? 3. 동작교육의 내용 및 방법은 어떠한가? 4. 동작교육의 환경 및 도구는 어떠한가? 5. 동작교육시 교사의 역할은 어떠한가? 6. 위의 문제들이 학력과 경력에 따라 차이가 있는가? 본 연구의 대상자는 서울특별시에 소재한 유치원 82개의 200명의 담임교사였다. 연구를 위하여 사용된 도구는 질문지이다. 자료처리는 SPSS 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도와 백분율을 구하였으며 또한 학력과 경력에 따른 차이를 알아보았다. 본 연구의 결과는 아래와 같다. 1. 동작교육 개념에 대하여는 대부분의 교사들이 유아의 신체조절 및 표현력 신장이라고 생각하였다. 그리고 학력과 경력이 높을수록 개념을 바르게 이해하고 있었다. 2. 동작교육 지도는 1주에 3.36회 1일에 16분 이상씩 지도한다고 나타났다. 유아들이 동작을 하는 데에 소극적인 이유는 유아의 자신감이 위축되기 때문이 45%로 나타났다. 교사가 동작교육의 내용과 방법을 습득하는 방법은 대학에서 배운 것(33%)이 가장 높았다. 그리고 학력이 높을수록 대학에서 배운 것에 의존하고 경력이 많을수록 세미나를 통해서 습득한다고 답했다. 3. 동작교육의 내용은 이동동작(39.5%)을 가장 많이 지도하는 것으로 나타났으며 학력이 높을수록 신체 탐색의 기회를 준다(95.5%) 고 나타났다. 4. 동작교육의 장소로는 교실, 유희실이 가장 많이 사용되었고, 넓이는 20평 이상이 가장 많았다. 동작교육시 참고하는 책으로는 어린이 춤곡(36%)과 문교부 율동 곡집 (33.5%)을 사용하였다. 어린이의 복장은 대부분이 평상복(56%)이며 현재 자신이 실시하는 동작교육 실태의 만족도는 높은 것으로 나타났다. 5. 교사의 역할에서 유아의 동작교육 활동에서 대부분의 교사들이 유아에게 동기 부여를 함으로써 동작교육을 한다고 응답했으며 동작교육 활동을 준비할 때에는 가장 먼저 도구를 마련한다고 많은 교사가 응답했다. 그리고 동작활동시 유아가 자기표현을 겁낼 때는 신속히 격려한다고 나타났다.
