피아노 앙상블 교재개발 연구

Abstract

21세기는 세계화, 정보화, 다양화에 따라 나라간의 경계가 축소되고 있으며 문화적, 과학적 측면에서 볼 때 세계는 하나의 공동체적인 성격을 띄어가고 있다. 이 시대의 학생들은 창의력, 비판적 사고력, 유연성 있는 문제 해결력 그리고 정보를 효율적으로 분석할 수 있는 능력을 필요로 한다. 이러한 기본 취지에서 음악교육의 주요 목표는 음악 활동을 통한 학생의 음악적 즐거움과 이해의 증진을 두고 있다. 그리고 그 목표를 이루기 위해서 가창, 기악, 감상, 창작 등의 활동이 통합된 활동 중심의 교육을 통한 개념의 이해를 강조하고 있다. 즉, 전문적인 음악가를 양성하기보다는 학생들이 폭넓은 음악적 생활을 할 수 있도록 바람직한 음악 체험을 통해 음악성을 계발하고, 풍부한 정서와 창조성을 길러 조화로운 인간을 형성해야 한다는 것이다. 이러한 조류에 부합하는 피아노 교육은 포괄적 음악교육을 목표로 하는 클래스피아노에서 찾을 수 있다. 음악과의 활동 영역 중 학생들이 가장 흥미를 가지고 참여하는 활동 중 하나가 친구들과 함께하는 앙상블이다. 앙상블 수업은 교사와 학생들 사이, 또는 그룹 사이의 끊임없는 음악적 대화와 발견을 통해 학생들이 음악적으로 최대의 성장을 할 수 있는 매우 효율적인 음악 활동이다. 자신이 연주를 하면서 다른 이들의 연주를 동시에 듣고 거기에 같이 호흡을 하고 음악적 조화를 이루며 따라가야 하는 앙상블 연주는 연주자들로 하여금 신체적, 정신적 특히 청각적인 기능을 고도로 발달시키게 한다. 효과적인 앙상블 수업을 위해서는 예술적 가치가 높으면서도 학생들의 학습수준과 흥미를 잘 반영한 교재가 필수적이다. 한국의 피아노 앙상블 교재는 디지털 피아노 발달과 함께 클래스 피아노 수업이 증가했던 1990년대 말부터 2000년대 초까지 빠르게 개발, 보급되었다. 그러나 연주대상(어린이, 청소년, 성인)이나 연주자의 수준(초급, 초중급, 중급, 중고급), 연주 목적(교육용, 연주용, 연간절기), 앙상블 형태(2중주, 3중주, 멀티-피아노) 등에 따른 레퍼토리 등을 고려할 때 그 종류와 범위의 한정성을 볼 수 있다. 현재 출판되어 시중에 유통되고 있는 피아노 3중주 이상의 앙상블 교재는 반 이상 절판되거나 교사들의 지속적인 교육이 되지 않아 초급용 앙상블 교재에서 더 이상 발전하지 못하고 있다. 그 중 유통되고 있는 교재들도 시대의 흐름에 맞춰 다양한 음악 스타일, 곡의 편성 등을 변화시켜야 한다. 교재 개발에 앞서 현재 국내에 출판되어 시중에 유통되고 있는 앙상블 교재의 장단점을 보완하여 보다 다양한 종류의 스타일과 현대적인 감각이 어우러진 교재를 만들기 위해 현 교재를 조사 및 비교, 분석해 보고자 한다. 교재의 구성에 있어서는 각 곡마다 교사의 지도를 돕기 위한 간략한 교사 지침을 제시하고, 곡의 분위기와 특징에 맞는 디지털 피아노 음색을 추천하여 악곡 앞에 제시한다. 앙상블의 형태로는 포괄적인 음악 교육 원리에 부합하고자 즉흥, 리듬, 선율 앙상블을 포함하였으며, 레퍼토리 선정에 있어서도 다양한 시대와 음악 스타일을 포함시킨다. 또한 음악 학원, 방과 후 학교의 클래스 피아노 수업, 음악 발표회 및 학예회 등에서 효과적으로 활용 할 수 있는 교재 개발에 그 목적을 두고 있다. ;The 21stcentury is the age that collapsed the boundaries between countries due to the fast development of transportation and Information Technology. In our time, multiple cultures exist beyond time and space. Therefore, students living in the 21stcentury need creativity, critical thinking, flexibility in problem solving, and the ability to analyze information efficiently. In order to meet the needs of today's society, the 7th Educational Curriculum Revision of music classes places emphasis on ‘the nurture of autonomous and creative students who would lead the period of globalization and information-orientation’. That means we have to develop students’ musicality through a wide range of musical experiences rather than attempt to cultivate professional musicians. The students would become more harmonious in relationships, be more creative, and be rich in emotion. Class Piano satisfies the revision of educational goal through its comprehensive music study. Many students have high interest in ensemble activity because they can do this with their friends. Piano ensemble is a very efficient musical activity in which the teacher and all the members have constant musical conversations while developing their musical talent. For the efficiency of the piano ensemble, it is essential to have a method book that has highly artistic music, suitable to the level of students, and also interesting to the students. The piano ensemble books in Korea were developed rapidly and have come into wide use since the late 1990s. Class piano lessons have become more popular because of the development of digital pianos. However, they are limited in variety and range considering the audience, the level of the player, the purpose of playing, and the type of ensemble repertory. In this study, we made a method book for the multi-piano ensemble that is suitable for the 21st century which is defined by globalization, information-orientation, and diversification. It has ensemble pieces that are arranged including classics, Korean children’s songs, and pop songs that relate to people from around the world. This method book is for intermediate leveled students. It can be used in music academies, after-school classic piano classes, musical performances and school arts festivals. It is expected that this textbook could motivate students interest in music and encourage them to participate in a variety music activities.
