간호전문대학 간호철학 및 윤리 교육과정 모형 연구

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 간호전문대학의 “간호철학 및 이론” 교육과정이 갖추어야 할 모형을 탐색하기 위하여 (1) “간호철학 및 윤리” 교육과정의 운영현황을 파악하고, (2) “간호철학 및 윤리” 교육과정을 분석하고, (3) “간호철학 및 윤리” 교육과정의 문제점을 찾아서, (4) “간호철학 및 윤리” 교육과정의 개선방안을 제시하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 연구문제로서 아래와 같이 설정하였다. (1) “간호철학 및 윤리”학의 교육목표는 무엇인가 (2) “간호철학 및 윤리”학의 교육내용은 무엇인가 (3) “간호철학 및 윤리”학의 교육과정 운영의 실제는 어떠한가 (4) “간호철학 및 윤리”학의 문제점은 무엇인가 연구방법으로는 문헌연구와 질문지법, 면접법으로 교수집단과 임상감독집단의 의견을 조사하였다. 이상과 같은 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. “간호철학 및 윤리”교육의 목적은 인간으로서 올바른 가치관과 사회적 책임을 가지고 간호현장에서 야기되는 문제를 슬기롭게 해결하는 태도와 능력을 기르는데 있다. 2. “간호철학 및 윤리” 교육의 목표는 (1) 인간의 존엄성을 인식하고, (2) 간호의 본질을 이해하며, (3) 간호의 변천과정을 파악하고, (4) 간호의 사회적 역할과 기능을 이해하며 실천하는 능력을 기르는데 있다. 3. “간호철학 및 윤리”교육의 내용은 간호의 현대개념(전인간호), 간호이념, 간호의 본질, 간호의 수행절차, 전문직과 윤리, 간호원가 법적 관계, 간호원의 정의, 권리, 의무, 면허 등이라고 전문가들과 간호전문대학의 “간호철학 및 윤리” 담당교수 그리고 임상간호집단들이 공동으로 긍정적 반응을 보였다. 4. “간호철학 및 윤리”교육과정 운영상의 문제점으로 (1) “간호철학 및 윤리”교육과정 내용의 모호성, (2) 참고문헌 자료의 부족, (3) “간호철학 및 윤리”담당 교수의 자질미흡, (4) 임상에서 간호원들의 간호정신의 결여 등을 들 수 있다. 이상과 같은 결과를 기초로 하여 “간호철학 및 윤리”교육과정 모형은 현재간호의 목표인 인간중심의 전인간호에 중점을 두어야 함을 전제로 하고 “간호철학 및 윤리”교육의 목적, 목표에 부합되는 교육내용으로 간호철학 영역, 간호개념 영역, 전인간호 실천방안 영역, 윤리와 도덕 영역, 간호사회의 윤리와 조정 영역, 간호조정영역, 간호원과 법적 관계 영역 등의 내용으로 간호이념과 간호교육의 기본구조에 비추어 “간호철학 및 윤리”교육과정의 모형을 제시한다. 앞으로 이 모형이 더욱 검토되고 다듬어져 교육현장에 반영되는데에 일역이 되었으면 하는 마음과 “간호철학 및 윤리”교육과정 운영상의 개선을 위한 제언으로는 ① 학교 체제상의 교육과정 운영은 지양되어야 할 것이다. ② 교육과정 운영상 자율성이 인정되어야 할 것이다. ③ 간호철학 및 윤리 교육내용 중 간호정신 확립과 전인간호 실천방안의 이론을 통하여 간호현장에서 적용될 수 있는 이상적인 운영과 “간호철학 및 윤리”학의 개념정립에 대하여 폭 넓은 연구가 있어야 하겠다.;In order to inquire into a model best suitable to the curricula of nursing philosophy and ethics, the present, study is intended to (1) grasp the present condition of their operation, (2) analyze them, (3) find out what problems they involve and (4) design a comprehensive scheme for their improvement in the future. The questions set for carrying out this study are as follows: (1) What is the educational goal of nursing philosophy and ethics? (2) What is the educational substance of nursing philosophy and ethics? (3) How about the operational pratice of the curricula of nursing philosophy and ethics? (4) What problems are involveld in nursing philosophy and ethics? This study was carried out by means of bibliographical investigation, questionnaire and interviews with teaching group and clinical supervisory group to survey their opinons. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. The purpose of nursing philosophy and ethics is to cultivate the attitude and ability of solving prudently all problems arising from nursing profession with an upright view of value and social responsibility. 2. The educational goal of nursing philosophy and ethics is to cultivate the ability of (1) recognizing human dignity, (2) understanding the essence of nursing, (3) grasping the transitional process of nursing, and (4) understanding and carrying out the social role and techniques of nursing. 3. The educational substance of nursing philosophy and ethics responded affirmatively with one accord by nursing specialists, teaching group of mursing philosophy and etchics and clinical supervisory group includeds the modern concept of nursing total care, ideas of nursing, essence of nursing, training procedures, professionalism and etchics, nurses and legal relations and definition, rights, duties and license of nurses etc. 4. The problems involved in the curricular operation of nursing philosophy and etchics may be enumerated as follows: (1) Ambiguity of the contents of the curricula of. nursing philosophy end ethics, (2) shortage of literatures and data. (3) unsatisfactory quality of teaching staffs of nursing philosophy and ethics, and (4) lack of nursing spirit of clinical nurses. Based on these results, the model of the curricula of nursing philosophy and ethics pursued in this pap r is designed on the premise that it should give priority to total care which is the ultimate goal of modern nursing. The areas covered by such, model are those which are in conformity with the educational goal of nursing philosophy and ethics; i.e. nursing philosophy and concept, practical schema for total care, ethics and morality, ethics and coordination of nursing society, and nurses and legal relations. It is hoped that the model proposed in this gaper be reflected in practical nursing education. Recommendations for the operational improvement of the curricula of nursing philosophy and ethics are as follows. (1) The operation of institutional curricula should be eliminated. (2) Autonomy in cirricular operation should be recognized (3) Comprehensive studies should be further carried out for th establishment of nursing spirit, ideal operation of nursing curricula adaptable to nursing practice by applying the theory of practical schema for total care and establishment of the concept of nursing philosophy and ethics.
