초등학교용 특기.적성교육 관리 시스템의 설계 및 구현

Abstract

21세기 지식 기반의 정보화 사회는 다양한 지식을 가지고 자신에게 주어진 과제를 스스로 해결할 수 있는 사람, 자신의 특성을 최대한 발휘할 수 있는 사람, 창의적이며 도전적인 사람을 요구한다. 이러한 시대의 요구에 부응하기 위해서 학교교육은 기존의 획일화된 단편적인 지식만을 전달하는 교과 중심의 교육에서 탈피하여 이제는 수요자 중심의 교육에 중점을 두고 아동의 소질을 조기에 계발하고 특기를 신장시켜 학생의 잠재력을 최대한 발휘할 수 있도록 개별화 교육, 자기 주도적 학습능력과 창의성을 길러주는 학생 중심 교육이 되어야 한다. 이러한 점에서 특기·적성교육 활동은 이러한 지식 정보화 사회에 적합한 교육활동이 이루어지기 위한 하나의 방안으로 앞으로 우리 학교교육에서 가장 강조되고 변화되어야 할 교육의 방향으로 제시되고 있다. 특기·적성교육은 개인의 소질과 적성을 조기에 계발하기 위한 교육활동으로서, 교육의 다양화에 부응하는 한편, 교실 수업에서 미처 충족시키기 어려운 개개인의 욕구를 충족시키는 수요자 중심의 교육으로서 학생들의 자율적인 참여로 소질·능력 계발 및 보충의 기회를 주며, 학부모의 사교육비 지출 억제의 효과 측면과 개인의 능력 신장과 미래를 준비하는 계기가 되고 있다. 그러나 특기·적성교육은 관련 당사자들의 인식 제고, 재정 지원, 학교시설의 부족 및 자료의 부족, 교육 수요자의 다양한 요구 및 의견 수렴의 문제, 학교 관리자(특기적성 담당 교사)의 행정 업무의 과다, 그리고 가정통신문을 통해 학부모에게 전달되는 교육활동의 진행상황에 대한 즉각적인 안내 및 피드백의 결여, 학생 개개인의 특기·적성 교육활동 과년자료의 부족 및 회수의 어려움 등 아직 개선해야 할 많은 문제를 안고 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 특기·적성교육 활동의 운영실태를 통해 나타난 문제점들을 개선하는 방안으로서 관리자, 강사, 학생, 학부모가 공동으로 사용하는 특기·적성교육 관리 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 특기·적성교육 관리 시스템은 교육수요자의 다양한 요구의 수렴에서부터 특기·적성교육 활동 결과의 피드백까지 온라인 상에서 특기·적성교육 주체자간의 실시간 상호작용이 가능한 의사소통의 장을 마련하여 특기·적성교육 담당 교사(관리자) 측면에서는 업무 생산성의 향상과 효과적인 학생의 진로지도에 도움을 줄 수 있으며, 학생 측면에서는 웹을 통한 편리한 수강신청과 성적조회가 가능할 뿐만 아니라 공지사항·게시판·강좌정보·강사정보·강의평가결과 등의 다양한 정보를 얻을 수 있으며, 강사 측면에서는 학교를 통하지 않는 교육수요자와의 직접적인 연결고리 마련하고, 강사 또한 업무 생산성의 향상을 기대할 수 있다.;The 21th century is an information society on the basis of the knowledge. An information society requires person who have the initiative and solve the problems in person through the various knowledge and exert every effort in their scope. To meet the social needs, An education must inspect closely demands of educational consumers(students and parents of students) and develop their different special abilities, aptitudes, interests, etc. Accordingly special ability and aptitude education activity is one of the educational innovation strategies and a direction of the education emphasized and changed Special ability and aptitude education is an activity which focuses upon the development of different special abilities, aptitudes, interests, etc. of different students. It also aims at diminishing educational cost for private lessons by incorporating a wide range of educational activities into schools. But the preceding study shows that special ability and aptitude education in our present schools are not revitalized as much as expected because of recognition of the person concerned, various demands of educational consumers, a lot of administrative duties of special ability and aptitude education teachers, deficient facilities, materials, and equipments, lack of the immediate guidance against the progress situation of the education activity and feedback, lack of the history of the special ability and aptitude education activity data, etc. Therefore, final goals of this study is to propose a system which is designed and implemented for efficient management of special ability and aptitude education activities. The proposed system analyzes the current status and need and solves the problems and then revitalizes special ability and aptitude education activities. Special ability and aptitude education management system will encourage interactions at on-line among the three subjects(School, lecturer, students). Also It will be a very good chance to revitalize special ability and aptitude education activities and develop student's different talents, merits, interests, etc.
