社會科 探究授業의 效果에 關한 現場適用 實驗 硏究

Abstract

本 硏究는 文敎部令 第310號로 改疋·公布된 敎育課定構成의 基本方針의 要求에 呼應하여 理論上 여러 强點을 가지고 있는 探究授業 方法이 說明式授業方法보다 더 높은 學習效果를 거둘 수 있는가를 檢査해 보고 1974年 韓國敎育開發院에서 試圖했던 探究授業現場適用의 成功 事例를 再檢證하여 一般化의 轉機로 삼으려는데 目的이 있다. 硏究의 目的을 達成하기 위하여 다음과 같은 假設을 設定하여 이를 檢證하였다. 1. 探究授業方法에 依하여 學習하는 學生은 說明式 授業方法에 依하여 學習하는 學生보다 知識領域인 事實, 槪念, 一般化를 더 많이 獲得할 것이다. 2. 探究授業에 依하여 學習하는 學生은 說明式授業에 依하여 學習하는 學生보다 探究機能의 모든 分野에서 더 높은 技能을 獲得할 것이다. 3. 探究授業에 依하여 學習하는 學生은 說明式授業에 依하여 學習하는 學生보다 더 明瞭化 된 價値·態度를 獲得할 것이다. 以上과 같은 假設檢證의 方法으로 서울師大附屬國民學校 5學年 A, B班을 對象으로 國民學校 5學年 國史科의 "學問과 技術"이란 單元을 擇하여 現場適用을 하였다. 現場適用에 必要한 敎育資料는 韓國敎育開發院에서 開發한 資料를 使用하였으며 資料獲得을 위한 道具로는 亦是 韓國敎育開發院에서 作成한 總括檢査 25問項을 使用하였다. 檢査 結果로 獲得한 資料는 CR檢證과 百分率差異의 意義度 檢證의 두 統計的 分析方法으로 處理했다. 그 結果로 나타난 바에 依하면 假說1의 知識領域은 事實 P＜.05, 槪念 P＜.01, 一般化 P＜.01의 意義가 있었으며 假說2의 探究技能 領域에서도 問題認識 P＜.01, 假說 P＜.05, 探索推論 P＜.01, 結論導出 P＜.01의 意義가 있었다. 한편 假說3의 價値·態度領域에서도 P＜.05라는 水準에서 意義있는 結果를 얻을 수 있었다. 그러므로 假說은 모두 檢證되었으며 探究授業이 說明式授業보다 더 높은 學習效果를 거둘 수 있다는 事實이 確認되었다. 또한 1974年 韓國敎育開發院에서 現場適用 結果 成功한 事例를 充分히 뒷받침 할 수 있는 계기도 아울러 立證되었다. 앞으로 探究學習에 必要한 敎育資料가 充分히 供給된다면 우리나라 現實與件에서도 探究授業은 成功할 수 있다고 確信한다.;The purpose of the present study is to test the possibility of whether higher learning effects can be obtained even in our present circumstances by appling the inquiry teaching method to the practical field, thereby supporting the successful case obtained by the Korean Educational Development Institute in 1974. In order to attain this purpose the following assumptions are made : 1. The students taught by the inquiry teaching method will acquire higher level of knowledge. 2. The students taught by the inquiry teaching method will acquire higher level of skills in every field of inquiry skills. 3. The students taight by the inquiry teaching method will acquire clearer value and attitude. To verify these assumptions, the unit of lesson subjected "learning and skill" was selected out of the national history of the fifth grade of primary school, consisted of A and B classes, attached to the College of Education, Seoul National University. The necessary data used for this study were obtained from the Korea Educational Develoient Institute and the data obtained were verified by CR test and treated by means of statistical analysis of the significance of percent difference. According to the results obtained, significance was observed at the level of P .01 and/or P .05 in all assumptions enumerated above. Therefore the assumptions were all verified and it was able to come to the conclusion that the inquiry teaching method acn produce higher learning effects and practically possible to be applied even in the reality of our country. It was also possible to support fully the successful case study performed by the Korean Educational Development Institute in 1974.
