고등학교 논술교육과 지도 방안 연구

Abstract

논술은 문제에 대한 올바른 인식을 바탕으로 비판하고, 논리적이고 종합적으로 사고하여 창의적인 글로 표현 할 것을 요구하는 글쓰기로 교육의 근본 목적인 사고력 시장과 깊은 관련이 있지만 실제 고등학교에서의 논술 지도 및 학습은 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 고등학교 학생들의 논술 학습 및 작성 실태에 관하여 조사한 후 이를 토대로 논술 능력 향상을 위해 실시 할 수 있는 지도 방안을 구안, 적용한 후 결과를 분석하여 바람직한 논술 지도 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 각 장별로 논의된 내용과 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 제Ⅱ장에서는 고등학교 논술 실태 분석을 위하여 서울특별시 소재 고등학교 학생들을 대상으로 논술 학습 실태에 관한 1차 설문조사를 실시하였고, 양천구 소재 고등학교 학생들을 대상으로 논술 실시와 관련된 2차 설문조사를 및 논술 작성 내용을 분석하였는데 그 결과 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다 첫째, 학생들은 대부분 논술의 중요성을 인식하고 있었지만 학교 수업은 논술과 관계없이 암기 위주의 주입식, 강의식으로 이루어지고 학생들의 활동 및 참여를 확대해 나가는 수업이 부족하기 때문에 중요하지 않다는 응답도 있었다. 따라서 학교 수업 내용을 학생들의 참여와 능동적 사고를 강조하는 방향으로 변화시켜 나가야 한다. 둘째, 학생들의 대다수는 논술과 관련된 지도를 받지 않고 있었으며 논술 지도를 받는다 해도 공교육 기관인 학교보다 학원, 학습지, 과외 등 사교육에 더 의존하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 학생들은 논거수집 및 제시 등 논술작성과정에서 많은 곤란을 느끼는 것으로 나타났으며 실제 논술 작성 내용에서 비문이 많이 나타났다. 따라서 학생들의 논술 능력 향상을 위해서 기초적인 글쓰기 능력 함양 및 논술 관련 이론 지도, 논거를 수집할 수 있는 다양한 수업 활동 등이 이루어져야 할 것이다. Ⅲ장에서는 고등학교에서 적용할 수 있는 논술지도 방안을 구안하여 실제 수업을 실시하고 수업 평가를 통해 개선해야 할 점을 알아보았는데 이때 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 학습자의 능동성을 강조하여 논술 능력을 향상시키기 위해서 논술 지도는 배경 지식을 확대할 수 있는 읽기에서 자신의 의견과 다른 사람의 견해를 비교 분석해 다양한 견해들을 파악해 볼 수 있는 토론, 그리고 사고력의 종합을 통하여 논리적으로 표현하는 논술 쓰기의 단계를 고려하여 이루어져야 한다. 고등학교 2학년 학생들을 대상으로 토의를 통한 탐구수업을 실시하였고, 단계적인 글쓰기 수업을 실시하였다. 그 결과 학습자가 능동적으로 참여하고 문제 해결을 위해 활발하게 활동하는 수업이 되었지만 학급당 학급 인원 과다, 학교 수업 활동의 시간 부족으로 학생 활동에 많은 장애가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 단기간의 활동으로는 논술 신장을 기대할 수 없었다. 따라서 적절한 학급 인원 유지, 학생 활동 보장, 장기적이고 단계적인 논술 지도 모형 개발 등이 있다.;Among many functions of languages, writings is putting our thoughts into words. It means that words are directly resulted from our thoughts and writings could also expand and sort out our thoughts. Especially, since discourse writing requires creative experssionshased on logical and critical thoughts it has deep relations with the basic objective of education which is developing one,s thoughts. Therefore this study is carried out to find the measures to revitalize writhng by studying of the guidance plan for discours ability elevation of the high school students. In chapter l, objective, method and limitations of this study is mentioned and in chaper 2, by refering to related books, discourse writing and thoughts characters and thoughts of discourse writing were studied. chapter 2, a survey and statistics involving 450 students from one class from one class from each grades-nine classes in total-in three high schools seoul were carried out and the results were analysed. The results are followed. First, the students were both aware of the importance of discourse writing. Second, they showed negative attitudes about the starting of discourse writing in current situations. They also expressed unsatisfactory remarks about present condition of the teaching and writing of discourse writing. Third, students found it difficult to teach or study dissourse writing. They pointed out lack of references for technical matters and information, short of time Number of students and too much work load for such cause. A guidance plan available in senior high school was presented in chapter 3 and gave lessons to sophomore actually. As a result it was revealed that the number of the class, normalization of school management and long-range teaching plan of discourse should be considered seriously. Chapter 4 consists of conclusion and suggistion after situation analysis. The main purpose of this chapter is to prevent superficial discourse test by developing new and appropritatc policy. In order to vitalize the purpose of this discourse test, improvements on school circumstances. Active involvement of students and teachers in problems, and development of effective and various teaching program, objective evaluation criteria, and smooth realationship with universities is really needed.
