Abstract
The purpose of the study was (1) to design models of CAI program which is applicable to enhance student's Mastery Learning in mathematics at high school and (2) to develop a CAI program to fit the instructional processes for Mastery Learning. The study was assumed that computer contributes to the following aspects as teaching and learning material in mathematics instruction. 1. Possibility of individualized instruction 2. Giving students experience that would not otherwise be possible through simulation. 3. Leading the activity learning from meaningful interaction. 4. Providing with sufficient opportunity to drill and practice. 5. Reinforcing learning with immediate and a variety of feedback. 6. inducing the learning motivation with sounds and animation. The above assumption has proved the possibility from various study and it is expected to contribute to improve the aptitude of students, quality of instruction, ability to understand instruction, perseverance. KEDI model is applicable to the instruction for Mastery Learning. The 5 stage of KEDI model consist of planning, diagnosis, instruction, development and evaluation. This study proposes models of CAI program which applicable to the diagnosis, instruction, development and evaluation stage. Practically, in developing program, CAI program is developed to be used as assistant material in teaching page and the program is also made to help student to be able to understand the concept of limit by observing the function which can not use a graph at the high school level, more over, to connect with continuity of function.;본 연구는 수학과 완전학습을 가능하게 하기 위하여 CAI가 가지는 특성을 탐색하여 완전학습의 각 수업 절차에 적용할 수 있는 CAI 프로그램의 형태를 제시하고 그 예시 프로그램을 개발하는데 그 목적이 있다. 먼저 수학과 수업의 완전학습을 위하여 CAI가 가지는 특성을 탐색하였고, 한국 교육 개발원의 수업 절차인 계획, 진단, 지도, 발전, 평가의 5단계 중 실제 수업 과정인 진단, 지도, 발전, 평가 단계에 적용할 수 있는 CAI 형태를 제시하였다. 특히, 실제 프로그램의 개발 단계에서는 지도 단계에서 보조 자료로 사용할 것을 목적으로 하여 학생들이 그 개념을 이해하는데 어려움을 느끼고 있는 (1) 함수의 극한의 개념 (2) 함수 연속성 을 학생들이 컴퓨터를 이용하여 그 개념을 이해하고 반복 학습할 수 있도록 프로그램을 작성하였다.
