중학교 국어 교과서의 문장 단원 교육에 대한 고찰

Abstract

A purpose of teaching the grammar in the Korean is to expand the ability of the use of the language. This research deals with required knowledge, nature of language, and its reflection to the subjects through the analysis of the contents of the textbooks to carry out a goal which grammar teaching expands the linguistic ability. In particular, it shows how contents about the 'sentence' section (focused on components and structure) and knowledge on grammar make a complementary accomplishement on the good of the Korean Language teaching. The 1st grade section is about a sentence construction and conclusion. It enables them - according to their growth development - to have a interest in language development in order that they can use the sentences to esteem the hearer or the subject and have a modal speech life. The 2nd grade section is about ability to express a correct sentence relevant to sentence-to-sentence relations. This section aims to achieve the effective methods for expression and use them appropriately, in the case of the different situation, the different expressions. The 3rd grade section is about understanding the meaning in the whole context after a relevance among the sentences and a grasp of the construction principle. The analysis reports that it enables them to observe various linguistic phenomena, comprehend nature of language(Korean features, in particular), grasp the meaning of the sentence correctly, and therefore maintain effective speech life. In particular, it is believed that it should be positively accepted, the contents of the 2nd semester in the 3th grade, which helps them to understand the sentences in the discourse related to real world. It is the 1st trial in the 5th revision in the educational curriculum. As the current grammar teaching, because of its omnipresence in the whole curriculum in the 6th grade, the related contents should be iterated, enlarged, and developed. But in real field, it has a great difficulty in that the substituting teacher can teach the grammar in relevance in the limited time. Therefore, one suggestion can be proposed, that making a grammar textbook, grammar-oriented teacher lectures in convergence in one grade. It may save time and give efficiency to the curriculum.;국어 교육에서 문법 교육의 목표는 언어 사용 기능의 신장에 있다. 본 연구는 문법 교육이 언어 능력 신장이라는 목표를 수행하기 위하여 기초적인 지식을 익히고 언어의 본질이 어떻게 교과목에 반영되어 있는지를 교과서 내용분석을 통하여 살펴보았다. 특히, 중학교 국어 교과서의 문장 단원 교육에 대한 내용과 문법 지식이 어떻게 상호 보완적으로 국어과 교육 목표를 수행하고 있는지를 살펴보았다. 1학년 교과 내용은 문장 구성과 문장 종결이다. 이러한 교과 내용은 성장단계에 따른 유아의 언어를 언어 발달에 관심을 가지게 해서 청자나 주어를 높일 줄 아는 언어 생활과 문장을 쓸 수 있게 하는 과정이다. 2학년 문장과 문장간의 호응 관계를 생각해서 정확한 문장으로 표현할 수 있도록 하는 교과 내용이다. 문장 호응 단원은 상황에 따라 언어 사용이 달라짐을 알고, 적절하게 사용해서 효과적인 표현 방법을 체득하게 하도록 되어 있다. 3학년은 문장과 문장 사이의 연결 관계를 따져 보고, 글의 구성 원리를 파악하여 전체적인 문맥의 맥락 속에서 의미를 이해하게 하는 내용이다. 여러가지 언어 현상을 관찰하고 언어의 본질과 특히 국어의 특질을 이해하여 문장의 의미를 바르게 파악하며 효과적인 언어 생활을 할 수 있도록 하는 교과 내용을 담고 있음이 분석 결과 나타났다. 특히, 문장의 이해를 실제 언어 상장과 연결하여 이야기 속에서 이해하도록 하는 3학년 2학기 교육 내용은 5차 개정에서 처음 시도되는 내용으로 보다 더 적극적으로 수용되어야 할 것이라고 본다. 현행 문법 교육은 이러한 교과 내용이 중학교 6학기 전 과정에 편재되어 있어 관련 내용을 반복, 심화, 발전시켜 교육하도록 되어 있다. 그러나 실제 교육에서 학년별로 바뀌는 교사가 제한된 시간 속에서 문법 내용을 연계성있게 지도하여 언어 능력을 체계적으로 향상시키기란 쉬운 일이 아니다. 그러므로 문법책을 한 권으로 만들어서 한 학년에서 문법 담당 교사가 집중적으로 지도하게 하면 시간 절약과 효율성이 있지 않을까 제언하는 바이다.
