Computer assisted language learning 영어 학습에 관한 연구

Abstract

학습 및 교육 분야에 나날이 교육 매체를 활용하는것이 일반화된 요즈음 가장 강력한 학습수단이 될 수 있는 컴퓨터를 이용하여 학습효과를 증진 시킬 수 있는지 사례 연구를 해보았다. 모든 분야에 대한 도입이 가능 하겠지만 본 연구인은 영어 과목에 대해 실험을 실시했다. 컴퓨터를 이용한 언어 학습을 CALL(Computer Assisted Language Learning)이라 하며 이를 뒷받침하는 이론으로는 여러 가지가 있으나, 본 연구인은 의사전달중심 접근법(Communicative Approach)을 배경으로 만든 CALL 프로그램으로 실험 검증하였다. 학력과 지능면에서 동일 하다고 여겨지는 두 집단을 선정하여 한 집단에는 기존의 수업으로, 다른 집단에는 CALL 프로그램으로 수업을하여 그 결과를 비교 분석하였고,실험 집단에 대하여 설문을 실시한 결과 CALL에 대한 선호 정도를 알 수 있었다. 우리 교육 실정에 맞는 프로그램의 개발이 시급하며 앞으로는 집단 수업에 대한 실험 및 실제 적용이 필요할 것이다.;During the last 10 years lots of scientific teaching and learning materials have been achieved, especially English education field has been totally developed as a teaching science. There are many countries which already use the education technology concepts for teaching the front line student as a sort of scientific teaching method. As a result they are getting a huge achievement. Also there are many researches for getting the best out of students by facilitating various instructional materials. The teachers and computers are mutually interdependent by helping each other. So far, the computers saved much time for the teachers to repeat the sentence making practice, which needed the major portion of the teachers' time. In my research, I tried define what exactly CALL is and what the CALL's function should be. Experiment has been conducted to compare two groups of students, one using the CALL program, the other using the conventional method. The result shows that the group using CALL has better performance than the other.
