아이디어 생성 훈련이 작문의 질에 미치는 효과

Abstract

본고는 학생들의 작문력 향상을 위한 효과적인 교수-학습 방법을 모색하는데 연구의 목적을 두고 있다 작문에 대한 최근의 연구는 작문의 과정에 대한 이해와 작문 교육의 방향에 큰 변화를 가져봤다. 변화의 基底는 연구자들이 작문의 결과물에 관심을 가지기 보다는 작문의 과정에 더 큰 관심을 두는 것인데, 연구의 결과 작문 과정에 대한 과거의 線條的(linear) 모형이 실제적으로는 작문의 과정을 반영해 주지 못하고 있고, 작문 교육에도 기여하지 못하고 있음이 입증되었다. 본고는 작문의 回歸的(recursive) 과정에 대한 기존의 연구를 기초로 하여 다음과 같은 내용을 연구하였다. Ⅱ.장은 기존의 작문 이론과 현행 작문 교육의 검토로, 1절은 이론적 배경으로서 '작문'의 개념과 과정에 대하여 기존의 연구를 기초하여 논의하였고, 2절은 1960년대와 1970년대를 경계로 변화한 작문관과 작문 교육관을 논의하였다. 3절은 작문 지도의 모습을 관찰하여 교과서의 문제와 학습 지도 방법에서의 문제점, 특히 '아이디어 生成' 학습의 문제점을 지적하고 개선 방안을 논의하였다. Ⅲ.장은 작문에서의 '아이디어 生成'학습의 의의를 기술하고, '아이디어 牛成'전략을 '아이디어 發見'전략과 '아이디어 組織'전략으로 구분하여 논의하였다. Ⅳ장은 Ⅲ장에서 논의한 '아이디어 생성'전략 중에서 '아이디어 발견' 전략으로는 '브레인스토밍(brainstorming)'을 채택하고, '아이디어 조직'의 전략으로는 플라워(Linda Flower)의 '아이디어 조직' 전략을 선택하여, 중학교 학생을 대상으로 지도하고 작문의 질에서의 효과와 아이디어 양과 질에서의 효과를 검증하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 '아이디어 생성'전략, 즉 '아이디어 발견' 전략과 '아이디어 조직' 전략의 학습이 작문력 향상에 有意味한 효과가 있음이 증명되어, '아이디어 생성' 교육의 중요성과 타당성이 입증되었다. 이 사실에서 좀더 효율적인 교수-학습을 위한 '아이디어 발전" 전략과 '아이디어 조직'전략이 계속적으로 더 연구되어야 함을 示唆받을 수 있다.;The purpose of this work is searching for the effective teaching-learning method to develop students' ability to write. Re cent researches for the writing bring out huge changes in understang the process of the writing and in the direction of the writing. The main current of changes is that most of reserchers have more interests in the precess of the writing than the result of writing. And it is reported that, in facts, the old linear model of the writing precess doesn't reflect the process of the writing and doesn't contibute to the writing education. In this work, the followings are analized on the basis of former reserches for the recursive process of the writing. In chapter Ⅱ, Ⅰ define, as theoretical background, the concept and the process of the writing on the basis of former reserches. And I point out problems of the 'text' and the teaching method, especially in view of the 'idea-creating', through observing actual conditions of the writing education and suggest the way to improve them. In chapter Ⅲ,Ⅰ demonstrate the significance of the 'idea-creating' learning and develop the strategy to create ideas. In chapter Ⅳ,Ⅰ prove the effectiveness of my model-which, as referred in chapter Ⅲ, is based on the 'brainstorming' as the strategy to create ideas and Linda Flower's hierarchical organization strategy as strategy to organize Ideas and is experimented on middle school students- in improving the quality of writing, the quantity of and the quality of ideas. Through this work, It is proved that the strategies to create ideas, that is, the strategy to find ideas and to organize ideas have the meaningful effectiveness in improving students' ability to write. So the importance and the validity of the 'idea-creating' education are established. And it is recommanded that futher researches for the strategy to find ideas and to organize ideas are needed to develop more effective leaching-learnig process.
