函數적 思考 伸張을 위한 函數 槪念 指導

Abstract

In modern mathematics, the concept of functions is very important. When we think that it was applicated nearly in the whole area, it is important to comprehend obviously the concept of function in elementry-secondary school's curriculum, and to teach pupils that pupils see problems functionally. Functions depend on the dependence between objects. It is the region of mathematics which the variations is represented the dependence and the relation. Therefore, it can be represented the variation of world to the dependence. The purpose of function's education is to develop pupil's functional thinking ability. The concept of function came from dependencd-centered view, but it transfered to correspondence-centered view because of the tendency of 'the new math movement' which have begun since the late 1950s. As a result of analyzing elementary-second school's textbooks, the function has been usually taught to the correspondence-centered and the product-oriented views. As a result of rearch the idea of teachers about the instruction of function concepts, the function is need to teach dependence-centered view. This study is referenceed Bruner's thory, history-genetic principle and Frudenthal's didactical phenomenology. For the development of functional thinking, this study is suggested that the function concept's instruction is dependence-centered and activity-oriented views. and it must be taught pupils by this views. Therefore, this study is suggested an alternative plan and examples.;현대 수학에서 함수의 개념은 매우 중요하고, 거의 모든 분야에 적용되고 있음을 생각할 때 초·중·고등학교 교육과정에서 함수의 개념을 명확히 이해시키며, 여러 가지 문제를 함수적으로 사고하는 능력을 지도하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 함수는 종속성에 근거하고 있으며 변화하는 주변 세계의 현상을 설명하는 데 필요한 수학적 영역이다. 역사적으로 함수는 종속 중심적 관점에서 시작되었으나 1950년대 후반부터 시작된 '수학 교육 현대화 운동'의 영향으로 대응 중심적 관점으로 바뀌게 되었던 것이다. 현재 사용중인 초·중·고등학교의 수학 교과서를 분석한 결과, 대응 중심적, 산물 지향적으로 함수 지도를 하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 교사를 대상으로 한 설문 조사를 실시하여 현 함수 개념 지도에 대한 의견을 알아본 결과, 종속 중심적 함수 지도가 필요함을 알 수 있었다. '함수적 사고'의 개발이 함수 지도의 목적이다. 본 연구는 학생들의 함수적 사고의 신장을 위해서는 종속 중심적, 활동 지향적인 함수 개념 지도가 실시되어야 함을 제안한다. 이를위해 브루너 이론과 역사 발생적 원리와 프로이덴탈의 교수학적 현상학의 이론적 근거에 따른 종속 중심적, 활동 지향적 함수 개념 지도와 그 지도 방안을 대안으로 제시하였다.
