고등학생들의 전산 전문직에 대한 관심도 조사 및 분석

Abstract

정보사회를 이끌어갈 전산인력 수급의 양적 불균형도 심각한 문제이지만, 배출되는 전산인력에 대한 수요기관에서의 질적 요구사항 충족여부 또한 중요한 문제이다. 이와같은 전산인력의 양적 불균형과 질적인 미흡함을 충족하기 위해서는 학교 전산교육을 진로교육에 맞게 효율적이고, 체계적인 개선방안을 찾는데 도움이 되고자 한다. 이에 본 연구인은 미래사회의 주역이 될 고등학생들을 대상으로 학업성취 의욕의 척도가 되는 관심도를 파악하는 것은 큰 의미가 있다고 본다. 그러므로 이의 검증을 위하여 전산전문직에 대한 관심도와 전산교육 필요성 인식정도를 조사분석하였다. 나아가서 전산전문직에 대하여 어느정도 인지 하는지를 파악하는 것은 전산교육의 목표설정에 기준이 되리라 보고 직능별 구분에 따른 전산 전문직에 대한 인지정도와 선호도를 조사 분석하였다. 연구방법은 관심도를 나타낼 수 있는 응답자의 일반적이 요인을 설정하고 이를 바탕으로 설문지를 작성하여, 서울의 인문계 및 실업계 남, 여 고등학생들을 대상으로 면담, 조사 실시하여 회부된 691부의 자료를 근거로 SPSS PC + Ver3.0을 이용하여 통계처리 및 분석을 하였다. 연구결과 전산 전문직에 대한 관심도는 62.8%로 높게 나타나고 전산교육 필요성인식 또한 81.2%로 상당히 높게 나타났다. 그리고 전산 전문직에 대한 관심도는 학교유형, 진로계획에 따라서 차이가 있고, 전산 교육의 필요성 인식정도는 학교유형과 성별에 따라서 차이가 있으며, 또한 전산전문직 분야별 선호도는 학교유형, 성병, 진로계획에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 전산 전문직에 대한 관심도와 전산교육 필요성 인식정도는 전산 전문직에 대한 관심도가 높을수록 전산교육의 필요성 인식정도는 더욱 높게 나타나 본 가설들은 의미가 있다고 검증되었다. 그러므로 학교교육에서는 이같은 학생들의 전산 전문직에 대한 많은 관심과 전산교육 필요성에 대한 높은 인식정도를 적극 수렴하여 산학 협동체제 구축의 기반이되고, 보다 효율적인 전산교육이 이루어지도록 하여야겠다. 아울러 정보산업 분야에 대한 충분한 정보교육을 진로교육에 맞추어 체계적으로 실천하는 것이 요구된다.;This study begins with assumption that research and analysis for the high school students' degree of concern for the profession of computer science, the degree of students' recognition on the necessity of computer education and the degree of their perception and preference for the profession of computer science is so significant task, which is a measure of scholstic achievement. This study has been carried out through the questionaire research upon total 691 students in academic high schools and vocational high schools. The results of this study can be summarized as follows : First, for the appropriate educational guidance for academic high school students' computer education is accomplished with sufficient understanding and instruction about the profession of computer science. At least, computer education must not be an optional subject but a compulsory subject in the curriculum of an academic high school. Second, for vocational high school students, computer education is strengthened corresponding with practical business. For example, practical vocational orientation, practical exercise following work experience program, and sufficient education for certification system of computer must be considered. Throughout this study, it is revealed that the higher the students' concern fur the profession of computer science, the higher the level of students' recognition on the necessity of computer science. Consequently, sufficient understanding for an information on specialized and specified informational industry is demanded for accomplishing the education of more obvious purpose, and academy and industry must make their efforts to contribute to computer education through positive consideration on the students' high degree of concern
