詩의 本質的 特性에 따른 詩敎育 改善에 관한 硏究

Abstract

詩는 情緖와 운율적 언어로 사람의 感情을 순화시키고 인생을 표현하는 창작文學이다. 詩의 效用이 궁극적으로는 감동과 쾌락에 있으므로 詩를 배우는 목적 또한 인생을 照明하고 현실과 이상을 조화시켜 인간의 정신을 살찌우고 윤택하게 하는 데 있다고 할 수 있다. 그러나 현재 인문계 고등학교에서 이루어지고 있는 詩 敎育은 입시 제도에 얽매여 詩를 배우는 본래의 목적과는 거리감이 있으며, 고교 졸업후 사회인이 되는 실업계 고등학교에서 조차도 개인의 체험을 표출하지 못하고 있으며, 敎師 중심의 수업이 되고 있어 안타깝기 짝이 없다. 그리하여 본 硏究者는 이러한 고등학교의 詩 敎育의 실태를 파악하고 그것에 따른 문제점을 분석하여 다양한 詩 敎育의 方法 중에서도 詩가 갖고 있는 本質的 特性 - 情緖와 상상, 운율적ㆍ내포적 언어, 압축된 형식미, 인생과 체험 - 에 입각하여 고등학교에서의 효율적인 詩 敎育을 위한 硏究와 그 대책을 강구해서 발전적인 詩 敎育을 모색해 보고자 본 硏究를 시도하게 되었다. 敎育 목표의 확립도 중요한 일이지만 이를 실현할 세분화된 지도 방안이 규명되어야 敎育이 그 기능을 발휘할 수 있을 것이나 우리 詩 敎育의 현실은 이론과 方法이 모두 결여된 채, 구태의연한 敎育방식에 의해 계속되고 있어 많은 병폐를 내포하고 있는 바, 첫째, 詩에 대한 본질적 이해의 부족으로 作品 이외의 요소들을 주지시킴으로써 詩 본연의 敎育性이 상실되는 폐단이 있다. 둘째, 詩 敎育이 예술적 사고 과정을 습득시켜 이해 감상 및 창작에 이르는 情緖 敎育임에도 개인차를 무시하고 강의 일변도로 지도하거나 주입식 암기식으로 學生들의 사고를 폐쇄시키는 결과를 초래하고 있다. 참다운 敎育은 學生들을 하나의 인간으로 제 나름대로 완성시켜 자신의 행복을 성취함과 아울러 사회적으로 공헌할 수 있는 인간 형성을 실현하고자 하는 것이다. 특히 정서 敎育 가운데 詩 敎育은 學生 중심의 능동적이고 자율적인 학습方法에 의해 敎育 활동을 전개할 때, 정서 함양 및 미적 감수성을 심층화할 수 있는 詩敎育을 효과적으로 달성할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다. 그러므로 敎師는 깊은 성찰없이 일방적인 字句 해석으로 수업을 진행하여 學生들로 하여금 요소 찾기 활동에만 급급하지 않도록 하여야 한다. 그들의 진정한 文學적 경험과 享受를 저해하지 않는 詩 敎育의 방향을 모색한 바, 첫째, 詩 敎育에 대한 태도가 개방적이어야 한다. 둘째, 詩 作品의 이해와 감상을 주로 평가하되, 주관식 평가 方法을 활용하여야 한다. 셋째, 敎師는 詩의 본질적 특성에 대한 이해를 깊이하여 효과적이고 합리적인 지도를 할 수 있도록 끊임없이 노력하고 硏究하는 자세를 갖추어야 한다. 넷째, 敎師는 詩 敎育을 통해서 學生들에게 풍부한 상상력을 발달시켜 주며 學生 각자의 인생관과 세계관을 스스로 照明할 수 있도록 안내자의 역할을 해 주어야 한다. 따라서 본고를 통하여 詩의 본질적 특성에 입각한 敎育 方法이 敎育 현장에서 유용하게 활용되고 더 나아가서 앞으로의 詩 敎育 방향에 기여할 수 있도록 硏究를 진행하였다.;Poetry as a sentimental and metrical language is a creative literature which purifies .emotion of human and expresses their life. Ultimately, utility of poetry lies in impression and enjoyment, so we are convinced that the aim of learning poem illuminates our life and enriches our spirit with harmonizing of reality and ideal. But nowadays the education of poetry which is being achieved in Therefore, highschool has forced it into the entrance examination system. there is a gap of the original aim of learning poetry. I tried to study the improvement of poetry education based on its essential character which is sentiment and imagination, metrical and connotative language, condensed beauty of form, human life and experience. There are some evils in our poetry education. First, we lose sometimes the original aim of educational nature of poetry because of emphasis on the elements besides works itself. Second, we ignore student's individual ability and instruct them by mean of lecture. Such a training method makes student's thought illiberal. Third, the educational aim is still more far away due to the lack of materials which will became educational guide. True education is aiming at realizing social man who complete themselves of their own way of life and contribute themselves to the human society. When the education of poetry is being progressed by the acting and self-controlled study style of the first consideration in students, the education of poetry which refines the emotional cultivation and an aesthetic sensibility can be achieved effectively. So teachers must not teach finding elements of poem only without deep reflection through the poem. I tried to find the direction of poetry education that does not disturb their real literary experience and its enjoyment. First, the attitude of teachers for the poetry education should be open. Second, teachers should mainly evaluate comprehension and appreciation of poetry works. Third, teachers should do their best to teach students and they may direct students to understand the essential character of poetry. Fourth, teachers should fully develope student's imagination and perform the role of guide so as to that students can illuminate their own view of life and world by themselves. The educational method of poetry based on the essential character of poem should be utilized valuably on the educational spot, and it may contribute to the progress of poetry education noticeably in the future.
