제5차 중학교 음악교과서(5종)에 제시된 가창 학습 내용의 분석 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 중학교 음악교육에 중요한 역할을 하는 음악교과서에 게재된 가창곡의 학습 목표와 이를 위한 학습 활동을 포괄적 음악교육의 이론을 근거로 하여 분석 고찰함으로써 미래의 음악과 교과서의 바람직한 편찬 방향을 모색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 관련 문헌의 연구를 통해 우리 나라 음악과 교육과정의 목표 및 내용, 교과서의 조직에 대하여 살펴보고, 포괄적 음악교육의 이론적 배경이 된 종합적인 음악성과 MMCP, Tanglewood Symposium에 대한 문헌 연구를 하였으며, 음악교과서에서 선정된 가창곡의 학습 목표가 개념, 행위, 기능, 태도의 면들과 어떻게 관련되어 있는지를 분석하였고, 학습 활동이 개념적, 경험적, 통합적, 창의적 접근이 이루어지고 있는가를 분석하였다. 이상의 내용을 연구한 결과는 다음과 같이 요약된다. 1. 현행 음악교과서에서 다루고 있는 학습 목표와 학습 활동의 내용이 저자에 따라 특정한 면에 심하게 편중되는 경향을 보이고 있다. 2. 제재곡이나 제재곡이 지니는 주요 음악 요소가 관련 학습 활동과 연관성 있게 다루어지지 않고 있다. 3. 음악교과서는 지도 내용이 중심이 되는 단원식 구성을 채택하지 않고 제재곡 중심으로 짜여져 있어서 어떤 음악의 개념이나 원리를 배워야 하는지 뚜렷하게 밝히지 않고 있다. 4. 음악교과서는 포괄적 음악교육이 이루어질 수 있도록 개념적, 경험적, 통합적, 창의적 접근법을 혼합하여 다양하게 제시하고 있지 않고, 학습 목표에서는 기능과 관련된 목표와 학습 활동에서는 경험적 접근 방법을 위주로 짜여 있다. 5. 음악교과서는 전통 음악의 특징적 요소와 구조를 바탕으로 현대인으로서 진정한 자기의 소리로서 향유할 수 있는 '오늘날의 우리의 음악'이 주된 교재로 짜여져 있지 않다. 본 논문은 음악교과서의 체제와 내용만을 연구하였다. 그러므로 중학교에서 교과서가 실제로 어떠한 방법으로 쓰이고 있는지에 대한 현장의 실험연구가 있기를 기대한다.;This thesis analyzes the contents of the current junior high school music textbooks based on the theory of comprehensive music education, mainly concentrating on the comparison of the goals and activities of the songs in the 8th grad textbooks. Thus it is aimed to find out a desirable direction to revice them in the future. The goals, contents, and structures of the current Korean junior high school music are analyzed on “Teaching Model of Singing learned Program” established by H.S.Lee. Additionally the MMCP, Tanglewood Symposium, which are theoretical basis of the comprehensive music teaching, are discussed. Finally it is analyzed whether the teaching goals of the songs in the junior high school textbooks are related to the aspects of concept, practice, skill, and whether the teaching activities are approached with conceptual, experiential, integrated, and creative methods. The results of the above study are summarized as follows: 1. The teaching goals and the contents of activities dealt in the various music textbooks give too much weight on the experiential methods. Thus the current music textbooks, at least in the 8th grad is not compiled so as to provide comprehensive music education. 2. Given songs and their main musical elements are not related to the learning activities. 3. Since the current textbooks are compiled mainly with selected songs, it is difficult to pick out which kinds of musical elements and principles should be learned. 4. The modern Korean songs are not predominantly comprised in the music textbooks. This study is confined only to the structures and contents in the music textbooks. Thus further study on how the music textbooks are used in the practical class room teaching, is expected.
