국민학교 음악과 교과서의 분석 연구

Abstract

This study attempted to find the international trends of the music education and the basic principle of the music textbook of the elementary school, to review the guideline of the review for the music textbook and to analyze the contents of the textbook of the music in the Elementary school. The data was analyzed based upon the spiral and conceptual approach to the music teaching and concept of conprehensive music education by frameing lesson units according to the concepts of musical elements and activities. The result may be summarized as follows: 1. Most of the contents of the music textbook was well structured according to the current curriculum of the music. 2. The conceptual elements of the textbook is not well structured. 3. Singing and playing instruments are too much emphasized in the textbook. 4. The appreciation and the activites in the textbook are not evenly structured in the elementary school. 5. Resulting from the integrate curriculum of the first and second grade, the basic contents of the music curriculum are too much offered in the third year grade. 6. Teaching materials of the textbook of the music need to be developed Widely and deeply for the teaching of music of all types, forms, styles, periods and cultures.;교과서는 학교교육의 교수 학습에서 가장 중심이 되는 교육 자료로서 그 개선을 위한 지속적인 연구 검토가 요청된다. 본 연구는 그러한 의미에서 현행 국민학교 음악과 교과서를 분석검토하여 그 문제점을 밝혀보고자 한 것이다. 우리나라 국민학교의 음악교과는 1,2학년은 통합교과로 3-6학년은 단독교과로 운영되고 있으며 현행 교과서는 1-3학년은 1989년 3-6학년은 1990년 출간되었다. 본 연구에서는 전학년의 교과서를 대상으로 하였다. 연구의 진행은 이론적 기초로서 포괄적 음악교육을 지향하는 최근의 음악교육의 세계적 사조 및 현 국민학교 음악교육의 기본 방향과 고과서 분석의 일반적 기준에 관한 검토, 교육과정 및 고과서의 기본 편제를 통한 분석내용의 획정, 그리고 내용 분석의 순으로 이루어졌다. 그리고 분석의 실제에 있어서는 오늘날 음악교육과 일반적인 교과서관에서 크게 중시되고 있는 내용의 조직면에 주안점을 두고 실행하였다. 분석의 결과를 보면 우선 교육과정의 내용과 대비하여 불 때 전반적으로는 그를 충실히 반영하고 있는 것으로 나타난다. 그러나 그 내용의 구성면에서는 몇가지 문제점이 발견되는 바 그를 열거하여 보면 대략 다음과 같다. 첫째, 음악의 구성요소의 학습 내용은 요소간의 균형과 체계에 문제점이 나타난다. 둘째, 영역별 학습내용은 가창과 기악에 크게 편중되어 있는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 세째, 표현과 감상부분의 학년간 균형과 계열성에 차질이 발견된다. 네째, 1,2학년의 통합교과 운영으로 기초부분이 3학년에 과다 집중하는 현상이 나타난다. 다섯째, 포괄적 음악교육의 시각에서 볼 때 제 학습 요소에 관한 소재의 확장과 발굴의 필요성이 제기된다.
