학교내 현직연수의 개선에 관한 연구

Abstract

교원은 자질 향상에 힘쓰며 교육의 원리를 탐구하여 국민 교육에 힘써야 할 책임이 있으므로 현직연수는 중요하다. 현직연수 방법은 여러 가지 있겠으나 쉽게 연수할 수 있는 방법은 개인 연수와 학교내 현직연수이다. 개인 연수와 학교내 현직연수가 활성화되면 제한된 연수 기회를 보완 할 수 있고 연수 경비를 절감하며 교사들의 요구에 적합하고 현장에서 활용성있는 연수를 시행할 수 있다. 따라서, 본 연구는 개인 연수와 학교내 현직연수의 활성화 방안를 모색하는 데 자료로 제공하고자 하여 문헌연구와 설문지 조사를 병행하였다. 조사 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째 : 개인 연수 측면 교사들은 연수의 필요성을 인식하고 학교내 현직연수에 참여의식을 갖고있다. 교사들은 현장문제와 학습지도 기술면의 연수에 관심이 크고 학교 보유 도서와 교원 전용 도서실을 이용하여 교과연구 활동을 하려고 한다. 1교사 1연구 발표의 기회에 연구가 깊지 못해도 발표하려는 성의를 갖고 있다. 둘째 : 학교내 현직연수의 측면 교사들은 학교 현장문제에 관심을 가지고 있다. 학습지도와 관련된 연수내용과 현장중심적인 시청각 자료를 요구한다. 자료 개발은 연구기관에서 할 것을 요구하는 교사가 매우 많으나, 학교내 연수담당자나 교사가 개발해야 한다는 의견도 있다. 세째 : 학교 행정 측면 학교 행정자는 연수자료 제공과 교원의 요구가 반영된 프로그램을 개발하여 인적 물적 자원을 지원해야 한다. 개인적인 연수에 대한 관심을 학교내 현직연수에 돌리도록 유도하여 참여 의식을 높이고 환경 조성에 힘써야 한다. 네째 : 정책 측면 교원의 업무 부담을 덜기 위해 교육구청의 업무지시를 줄이고 학교 행정의 권한이 학교장에게 대폭 위임되어야 한다. 학교 외부 활동의 업무를 줄여 교육의 내실을 가하여야 한다. 교원의 수업부담을 덜려면 학급당 학생수를 줄이고, 예·체능 전담 교사제를 운영하여 교과지도의 효과를 높이기 위한 연구에 정책 지원이 요망된다. 학교내 연수의 효율성을 높이기 위해 연수의 자율성이 보장되어야하고 행정가의 연수에 대한 관리적 기능이 강화되어야 한다. 교사의 업무부담과 수업부담을 덜고 본연의 임무를 다 하도록 정책적 뒷받침이 있어야 하겠다. 이러한 문제는 계속 연구되어야 할 과제이다.;Inservice education is of great consequence in view of the fact that teachers have a missionary obligation to enhance their educational qualities and to contribute themselves to education though constant study of the principles of education. Two of the several ways that can be employed in inservice education programs are individual training and inservice training within each school. An activated individual training and inservice training within each school could supplement limited chances of training, and reduce training expenses. Besides, through these two training methods, a training which not only meets the needs of teachers, but also provides practicality, could be taken at the very scene of education. This research, which aims at grouping for ways of activating individual training and inservice training within each school, includes literature study and questionnaire. The results of the study are as follows: 1. On Individual Training Most teachers appreciate the necessity of training deeply, and want to join in the inservice training within each school. Having great interest in the field study and the development of teaching skills, trachers have a full mind to engage in curriculum study, taking advantage of the books in the school library and library for teachers. Given a chance to report the results of their study on "One teacher One study program", they try to do their best though their study is unsatisfactory in its depth. 2. On inservice training within each school teachers interested in field, study demand trainings related to learning guidance and audio & visual materials focusing on field study. A number of teachers maintain that research institutes take care of development of educational materials, some insist that those in charge of training programs and teachers themselves develop these materials. 3. On the side of school administration School adminstrators should provide necessary human and material resources through supply of training materials and development of programs which reflect the needs of teachers. The school administrators should make efforts to encourage teachers participation in inservice program by diverting their attention from individual training to inservice training within each school and providing necessary environments. 4. On educational policy To lesson the burdensome peper work imposed on teachers, work directions from the educational ward office should be curtailed and the authority of school administration should be consigned drastically to the principal of each school. Extra-school work also should be redeced for the sake of education. The number of pupils in a class should be curtailed to reduce the burden in terms of class size. It is also required to give political assistance to the study for enhancing the efficiency of teaching by making those teachers who majored in art and physical science take charge of arts and physical classes. To enhance the efficiency of inservice training within each school, the autonomy of training should be guaranteed and the managerial function of administrator should be enforced. Finally, political support for teachers should be reenforced for the teachers to do their best in teaching pupils.
