우리나라 제조업의 지리적 고찰

Abstract

오늘날 産業에 대한 개념은 대단히 넓어져 가고있다. 과거 우리나라는 1次産業 中心인 농업위주의 형태였다가 現在는 重化學工業 위주의 산업형태로 바뀌고 있다. 本 硏究는 過去 20年間 우리나라 産業發達 過程을 살펴보고 9개 製造業의 部門別 分布패턴과 業種別 지역구조를 분석하는데 그 目的이 있다. 이 目的을 수행하기 위한 자료는 경제기획원에서 발간한「事業體 실태조사 보고서」와「광공업조사 보고서」,「동아년감」등을 참고하였다. 시대를 편의상, 1971년, 1976년, 1981년, 1985년으로 區分하고 全國을 185개 市郡으로 구분하였다. 이상의 연구절차에 의거하여 얻은 결과를 기초로 하여 다음과 같은 결과를 抽出하였다. 1. 시대별 산업발달 과정을 보면 1) 1960년대는 경제개발 실시와 더불어 工業化가 추진되어 基幹 産業이 育成되었다. 2) 1970年代는 重化學工業 部門에 중점 育成하여 工業構造의 高度化를 실현하였다. 3) 1980年代는 內實成長 위주로 성장패턴이 발달하여 반도체, 컴퓨터, 生命工學등 新素材産業등 尖端産業이 발달하였다. 2. 지역별 특색을 보면 서울, 부산, 兩大도시에 工業比重이 全國의 50% 이상이 集中하였다. 서울은 인쇄, 출판, 기타제조업등 消費財部門이 높고, 釜山은 석유화학, 나무, 가구제조업, 비철금속 같은 重工業 部門이 높다. 道別로는 경기도, 경상북도, 경상남도를 제외하고는 全國製造業의 5% 정도의 낮은 部門을 차지한다. 이와 같이 우리나라의 공업지역은 경인지방과 영남지방에 집중되었음을 알 수 있다.;This attempts to find out the regional distribution of the industrial growth and to study the regional characteristics of the industry, and to analyse the regional growth of the manu-factoring in Korea. For the study the amaterial are obtained from the ministry elf industry and commerce, ministry of labor, and ministry of economic planning. The collected materials are analysed with tile methods statistics and some others are analyzed historically. The results may be summarized as follows. Firstly. The industrialisation in Korea began in the period of 1960 with the start of five-year economic development planning. Secondly. With the result of industrialization the structure of the industry be8,In to change. That is, the light industry began to transfer tn3 heavy industry. Thirdlly. In the period of 1980 semiconduct industry and life-engineering began to be developed. And the automobile and electronics became to be export base one. Fourthly. Over 50% of the industry in Korea agglomerated into the metropolitan in area of Seoul and Pusan area. The Seoul has specialized in the part of printing and cloths and the metals and mechanics are specialized in Pusan area.
