- educational situations raise a variety of subjects to study, including the exploration of intellectual capabilities, groping for the possibilities of human behaviour, the development of self-consciousness, extension of self-ability.
Accordingly, it is needed to carefully examine every factor connected with educational discrepancies, to eradicate various negative factor from the educational situation, instead to maintain equality in opportunity, and to maximize the educational effects.
This study is designed to comprehensibly analyze every problem connected with educational discrepancies, thereby to obtain data needed for realization of equality in opportunity. The determination of factors in relative to educational discrepancies solely depend on concretely distinguishable scholarly attainment. In addition are taken from preceding factors in educational process the psychological environment at home; and psychological environment of school from school educational factors, finally to scan the correlation between the psychological environment of home and school and scholarly attainment.
To effectively perform the study were established variables that affects psychological environment of home and school. And then an analysis was made through a questionaire of the correlation between the variables and scholarly attainment.
The resultant findings reveal that the evaluations and expectations of influences, including parents, teachers, and friends have large effects upon the students' scholarly attainment.
It seems that parents' giving their children a good advice along with keen interest in their children's school work, and providing them with appropriate motives would greatly contribute to their children's advancement of scholarly attainment. In addition, it is recommended that teachers' evaluation and expectation on the students should be made with equilibrium regardless of their variables, including students' backgrounds, capabilities, and social classes, and that the level of expectation should be enhanced.
Since a student's sound person-to-person relations with important influences have useful effects on his ideal, attitude and behaviour, and a desirable environment at home and school may be used as a means by which a student can grow as a good member of society, the psychological environment of home and school is recognized as a great significance.
