좌경이데올로기화한 해방신학에 관한 연구

Abstract

특정 사상을 비판하는 과정에는 신중한 검토와 함께 사상의 구심점을 정확히 파악해야 한다. 그런데 해방신학은 조직적으로 구성된 이론적 학문이 아니며 개별적인 항목, 기록문서, 유인물, 그리고 사목지침서 등을 정리한 것으로 전통신학과는 다른 신학적인 방법론을 추구하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문의 목적은 한국 사회에 점차적으로 알려지기 시작한 중·남미 해방신학에 관하여 해방신학의 진정한 모습과 한국 사회에 미칠 수 있는 영향, 실천의 내용 등을 검토하여 해방신학에 대한 비판적 시각을 갖고자 함에 있다. 지금까지의 해방신학 논의의 흐름은 크게 두 가지로 이루어져있다. 첫째는 정치이데올로기로 보는 관점이고, 둘째는 인류에게 희망과 구원을 주는 해방이데올로기로 보는 관점이다. 물론 전통신학적 관점에서 신학에의 이탈 등으로 해방신학을 거론하기도 하나 본 논문에서는 정치이데올로기화한 해방신학을 다루고 있다. 이러한 목적을 위하여 해방신학이 중·남미 지역을 중심으로 일어나게 된 배경을 라틴아메리카의 정치적 사회적 상황과 종속이론 등 관련하여 검토하였다. 그리고 직접적인 배경을 이루는 동기와 더불어 인류에게 희망을 주는 해방이데올로기로 받아들여지는 해방신학의 긍정적인 면 또한 해방신학의 사상적 배경과 함께 분석하고있다. 그러나 해방신학은 기독교의 본질에 새로운 방향을 제시하고있다. 그러므로 잘못된 신학의 개념으로 인해 해방신학의 성서적 근거와 죄의 개념, 구원의 개념은 전통신학적 관점에서 비판받고 있는 것이다. 이러한 것은 신학이 종교적 신앙이라는 것을 개인의 믿음과 결단의 문제로 보지 않고 사회구조의 개혁에 초점을 맞춤으로써 정치화 되었다는 것을 의미하는 것이다. 그 밖에도 해방신학자들은 부인하지만 마르크스주의와의 관련성을 해방신학의 방법론과 관련하여 마르크스주의적 사회분석, 실천방법으로서의 폭력혁명, 계급투쟁이론 등이 해방신학에 담겨있는 모습을 고찰하고 있다. 그리하여 해방신학의 정치이데올로기적 측면을 기독교의 초이데올로기적 성격과 결부하여 이데올로기화한 해방신학의 문제점들을 지적하고 있다. 결론적으로 사회정의를 향한 기독교인의 활동은 기독교적이어야 하며 이데올로기적 색채를 가져서는 안된다는 것이다. 해방신학이 사회정의의 실현에 대한 관심과 책임을 가지는 동기가 아무리 좋다 하더라도 결과적으로 많은 혼란과 문제를 일으키고 있으므로 정치이데올로기로 파악되어야 하며 이러한 성격 때문에 한국에서 해방신학은 지극히 제한되고 경계해야 할 것이다.;The purpose of this thesis is to have a critical viewpoint of what is the real feature of the Theology of Liberation in Latin America and to examine the effects of the Theology on the contemporary Korean Society. The research tendencies of the Liberation Theology so far have been formed in two ways; One is viewpoint of Political Ideology and the other is liberation Ideology. The latter insists the universal truth of Christianity is advanced to the world through the Liberated Ideology. But this thesis is based on the former. First of all, this thesis attempts to study the directive motives of the Liberation Theology and apparition background in relation to Dependency Theory. The documents from Vatican Ⅱ and CELAM(Consejo Episcopal Latino Americano) Medellin in Columbia is abstracted to find out the directive motives. Also, this thesis is abstracted that the Liberation Theology analyzes the Latin America Societies using Marxist methodelogy that is, violence revolution and class struggle as a method of practice. As a matter of fact the Liberation theologians insist that they do not accept all of Marxist approaches, but they are desserting neutrality and a serious view of conscientization. We can see the base of the Holy Bible, specially from Exodus, being insisted as a paradigm of the Liberation Theology. But this thesis criticizes non-religious elements and exclusive concepts of the Liberation, that is to say, this concept of sin and salvation, the concept of The poor, with a point of view from traditional theology. Besides, the Liberation Theology violates itself pure theological sense, because it is exclusively maneentered to a considerable extent. From the Ideological side of the Liberation Theology, this thesis also analyzes the issue of religion and the Ideology and beyond-ideological character of Christianity. In Conclusion, the Liberation Theology regards the task of theologians in the same light with the task of politicians thereby instigating direct actions. These suggest that the Liberation Theology is politicized, so Liberation Theology is not full Liberation Theology its purpose of the Godspels and degrade to political Ideology. Due to the character of the Liberation Theology, the possibility of accepting Liberation Theology in Korea is rather limited completely. As a result, Korea should make strenous efforts to build a righteous society and demoracy in politics in order to cope with the endangering encroachment of the so-called Liberation Theology.
