Abstract
敎育은 敎師로부터 시작하여 敎師에서 마친다고 하여도 過言은 아닐 것이다. 卽 敎育은 百年大計에 屬하는 國家社會의 繼續이며 敎員養成의 問題는 敎育의 成敗를 左右할 수 있는 關鍵이라고 指摘되어 오고 있다. 만일, 한 兒童이 初等學校에서 成功的인 敎育을 받았다면 그것은 確實히 希望的인 結果라고 볼 수 있다. 그러므로, 敎育機關中 初等學校는 一生동안 가장 基礎的이고 重要한 敎育機關이다. 또한, 全人敎育을 目標로 하는 初等·中等學校의 音樂敎育에서 音樂敎師는 學生들로 하여금 音樂의 美를 느끼고 表現할 수 있도록 指導해야 한다. 音樂敎育은 音樂專門家를 기르기 위한 基礎敎育이 아니라 音樂學習을 통하여 人間敎育에 이바지함을 그 目標로 삼아야 할 것이다. 이는 音樂敎師의 能力에 따라 左右될 것이며, 特히 初等敎育에 있어서 音樂敎育은 敎師의 音樂的 資質에 따라 더욱 큰 影響을 미칠 것으로 생각된다. 이러한 觀點으로 보아 本 硏究에서는 初等敎員 志望生의 音樂的 資質과 認識에 對하여 調査하여 敎師敎育에 도움을 주고자 한다. 本 硏究는 S敎育大擧 學生 310여名을 標集對象으로 標準化 音樂才能檢査와 質問紙를 調査하여 회수된 資料는 이를 統計處理하여 音樂敎育科 學生과 他科 學生을 比較하였다. 여기에서 나온 結果는 첫째, 音樂才能 比較에 있어서 音樂敎育科·他科 學生間의 才能에 대한 差檢證 結果를 全體的으로 보면 音樂敎育科 學生들이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 프로파일로 나타내면 平均點이 50點도 넘지 못하는 不滿足스러운 結果로 나타났다. 둘째, 質問紙 調査를 통해 比較해 본 結果 全般的으로 몇 問項을 除外하고는 별 差異가 없는 것으로 나타났는데, 音樂敎育科 學生·他科 學生間의 入學動機 및 滿足度에 對해서 살펴보면 入學 당시에는 消極的인 態度를 보였으나 現在의 狀況에서는 훌륭한 敎師가 되려고 學生들 나름대로의 敎師觀 定立에 努力을 기울이고 있고 確固한 使命感을 갖고 敎職에 임할 자세로 肯定論으로 모든 면에 生活하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 세째, 音樂敎科에 對하여 살펴보면 音樂敎育科·他科 學生들 모두 初等敎育에서의 音樂敎科에 대한 認識이 높게 나타났으며, 특히 敎育科 學生들은 절실히 音樂敎科의 必要性을 强調하고 있었다. 以上의 結果에서 여러점들이 修正·改善된다면 音樂敎師로서 矜持와 自負心을 지닌 肯定的 積極的인 훌륭한 敎師가 養成될 것을 期待해 본다.;It is no exaggeration to say that education begins and ends with teachers. In other words, because education is a long-term program of the nation, the matter of fostering good school teachers will be the key to successful education. If a child has received a good education in elementary courses, it certainly is the ideal beginning for successful education. Elementary school education is fundamental and very important. School education aims to help build well-rounded and smooth human characteristics, and in elementary and secondary school levels, music teachers should teach and guide the students in the expression and appreciation of the beauty of music. The purpose of music education is not simply to train music specialists, but rather to contribute to achievement of human education through the study of music. It depends largely upon individual music teachers' capabilities, and, in particular, elementary music education is greatly influenced by teachers' musical quality. In this regard, this study was conducted to check the musical quality of elementary school teacher candidates and their consciousness, in order to be of assistance in teachers' education. A standard musical talent test was conducted for over 310 students of the music education major and non-music major of the "S" Teachers' College, and prepared questionnaires were also distributed. The resulting data were computerized. The results of the study can be summarized as follows: First, in comparing the musical talents of music majors and non-music majors, the former resulted to be higher. However in profile, the average score was below 50, which is not satisfactory. Secondly, in comparing the results of the question-mires, with the exception of several items, there was not much difference. That is, in the motives of entering college and the degree of satisfaction, both showed negative attitudes at the time of entering school. But currently, they are exerting themselves to be good teachers, feeling a sense of mission as educators, and are leading their lives actively and positively in order to be good teachers. Thirdly, both music majors and non-music majors showed high consciousness on musical curricula for elementary education. And particularly, music major students emphasized the necessity of musical curricula. If some points indicated above can be implemented and improved, it is no doubt that these teacher candidates will become good educators.
