한국 특수학급의 효과적인 교육을 위한 운영체제 연구

Abstract

본 연구에서는 한국의 특수학급 운영의 문제점을 알아보기 위하여 문헌연구를 통하여 특수학급의 구성, 구조 및 교과과정의 내용을 분석하였고, 이러한 연구를 바탕으로 하여 한국 특수학급 현황을 조사 연구하기 위한 질문지를 작성하여 특수학급 교사의 견해를 수집 분석하였다. 이와 같은 연구를 통해 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국 특수학급 운영의 문제점으로는 특수학급 교사의 자질문제, 체계적 교육과정의 부재, 구조적이고 적극적인 행정적 지원의 부족으로 나타났다. 둘째, 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해서 아동선별, 진단, 판별 및 평가를 위한 모델과 아동의 생육사 및 교육평가를 참고해서 교사가 단기적, 장기적인 개별화된 프로그램을 설정할 수 있는 구체적인 모델을 제시하였다. 셋째, 특수학급 교사의 자질향상을 위해서는 특수교육 전공 학력은 물론 교사경력을 필수적인 채용기준으로 삼아야 한다. 넷째, 특수학급의 효과적인 운영을 위해서는 행정요원, 지역사회, 학부모의 적극적인 협조와 관심이 요청된다고 하겠다.;The study was conducted in two dirmenssions: first, an extensive review of literature concerning the systeam, structure and curriculum of the special class: second, a survey was conducted through set of questionnaire in order to solicit the special class teachers' opinion on the current situation as well as this suggestion for an improvement in operating the special class. The two-fold study resulted with the following findings: 1. The major problems carring the ineffectiveness of the special class considered to be the lack of specific preparation of the teachers, lack of systematic curriculum and the shortcomings of the management and support. 2. In order to implement an improvement to the above mentioned problems, two specific models were devised and presented, that is, a model for child's screening, diagnosis, assessment and evaluation, and another model for an individualized education program for short term and long term planning. 3. It was recommended that special class teachers for special class should be selected on the basis of special education training, along with prachial field experience of working with the handicapped children. 4. It is believed that these suggestions for the effective educational management of the special class be realized without the unificial attention and systematic support among the leaders of the ministry of education, community and specifically the parent group of the needy children.
