유치원 아동의 음악환경에 관한 조사연구

Abstract

본 조사연구의 목적은 조기음악 교육에 대한 유치원 어머니들의 태도와 실시를 검토하려는 것이다. 사회경제적 수준이 다른 유치원과 새마을 유아원의 어머니 약200여명을 대상으로 관한 내용들에 관한 질문을 하였다. 여기에는 음악교육의 목적, 시기, 기대되는 효과, 중요성, 실시방법, 음악적 환경을 제공하는 방법, 랫슨 유무에 따른 음악교육의 실시와 태도등이 포함되었다. 조사결과들에 따르면 사회경제적 수준이 높다고 생각되는 유치원집단의 어머니들은 사회경제적 수준이 낮다고 간주되는 새마을 유아원집단의 어머니들보다 음악조기 교육에 있어 적극적이고 능동적인 태도를 가지고 있었다. 사회경제적 수준이 높은 유치원 집단에서는 음악교육의 목적을 음악적 소양을 키우며 아동의 감정이 순화되기를 기대하며 유아기의 음악교육이 중요하다고 생각한다. 그러나 사회경제적 수준이 낮은 새마을 유아원 집단에서는 음악교육의 목적을 예능 특기를 갖도록 하며, 음악교육에서 노래부르기를 강조하며, 음악교육의 방법으로는 유치원 음악교육으로 만족한다고 하였다. 음악교육실시에 있어 유치원 집단에서는 음악을 많이 들려주며, 노래를 많이 가르치고 있었으며, 악기사용에 있어서도 허용적이며, 악기도 많이 사용하도록 배치하고 있었으며, 음악 환경의 구성에서 분위기를 매우 강조하고 있었다. 어머니의 교육수준에 따른 음악교육에 대한 태도와 실시를 보면 교육수준이 높은 어머니 집단과 사회경제적 수준이 높은 집단이 거의 비슷한 경향을 띠고 있었다. 어머니의 교육수준이 높을수록 유아의 음악교육에 대한 태도와 실시면에서 적극적이며 구체적으로 하고 있었다. 랫슨 유무에 따라 유아음악 교육에 대한 태도와 실시를 보면, 음악 랫슨을 시킬수록 조기음악교육의 중요성을 강조하고, 음악환경을 조성하고 악기마련에 있어 적극성을 보이고 있었다.;The present survey examined the attitudes and practices of the mother of the preschoolers toward early music education. About two hundred mothers of differing socioeconomic backgrounds were questioned on a variety of topics. Some of the questions included the purpose, timing. expected results of music education; its importance, ways of practice, methods of providing musical environment, needs for private lesson, and the like. The survey results showed that parent of the middle upper class had more positive and more active attitude toward the early music education them the parents of the lowesclass had. parents of different socioeconomic backgrounds revealed significant difference in carrying out musical education at home especially in means of providing their children with favorable musical environment Furthermore, mothers of high educational background also had quite positive and active attitude toward early music (이후원문누락)
