대학 시청각센타의 시청각교재 관리업무에 관한 실태조사 연구

Abstract

Relation between eduacation and society constitute one system which is interacted each other. And this relation reinforced all the more in modern time, so the rapid social changes based on Science should enlarge the role of education. Especially, Higher Education which plays a pivotal role of professional education has come to require the technological education method which can be used Audiovisua1 Materials more effectively to solve the problem of colse order formation classroom. Audiovisual Materials should be administered effectively and systematically, in order to improve educational effect through the use of Audiovisual Materials and make manifest its ability. To administer the materials efficiently in Audiovisual Center is important factor from a technological education method's point of view. The thesis attempts to study the selection, acquisition, classification, catalog, storage and circulation of Audiovisual Materials. Then, through survey on existing Audiovisual Materials' administering conditions of 35 College and University Audiovisual Centers, the thesis attempts to examine the problems and delineate the solutions which can be put into practice in College and University. The problems raised in the survey are as follows: 1. Selection policies, criteria and obsolescent provisions are not prepared. 2. Collection of materials is not enough to use. 3. Acquisition of materials is chiefly depend on purchase. 4. AV Centers are not use unificational classification method. 5. There is no coordinated catalog for the separate materials in a AV Center. 6. Storage facilities are not adequate. 7. Some schools are not circulating the materials to the students. To solve such problems and administer the materials more effectively, this thesis makes some suggestions as follows;교육과 사회의 관계는 매우 밀접하여 상호작용을 하는 하나의 체제를 이루고 있다. 이러한 관계는 과학의 발전을 토대로 현대사회가 변화해 가면서, 이에 따라 교육의 역할도 강화되었다. 그리고 특히 전문인 양성의 중추적 역할을 하고 있는 대학교육에서는 대형화·밀집화 되어가는 문제를 해결하기 위해서 광범위한 시청각교재를 보다 효율적으로 사용할 수 있는 공학지향적 교육방법을 요구하게 되었다. 이렇게 시청각교재의 활용을 통해 교육효과를 증진시키고 그 기능을 최대로 발휘하기 위해서는 효과적이고, 체제적으로 시청각교재를 관리해 나가야 한다. 즉 적절하게 교재를 활용할 수 있도록 관리하는 것은 교육방법의 공학적측면에서 볼때 중요한 요소라고 볼 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 시청각교재의 정의와 종류 및 교수와의 관계 그리고 시청각교재의 선정·입수·분류와 목록 및 보관과 대출에 대해서 국내외 관계문헌을 고찰해 보고, 35개 대학 및 대학교 시청각센타의 시청각교재 관리에 대해 실태조사하여 나타난 문제점과 그에 따른 해결방안을 제시하고자 한다. 조사결과 나타난 문제점은 다음과 같다. 1. 교재선정을 위한 선정정책과 기준 및 교재폐기 규정이 마련되어 있지 않았다. 2. 시청각교재의 보유량이 충분하지 못했다. 3. 교재의 입수는 구입에 가장 많이 의존하고 있다. 4. 시청각교재를 위해 통일된 분류방법을 사용하고 있지 않았다. 5. 분산된 교재에 대한 통합된 목록이 마련되어 있지 않았다. 6. 시청각교재 보관시설이 적절하지 못하다. 7. 모든 학교에서 교수에게는 대출이 되고 있지만 학생에게는 대출이 되지 않는 학교가 있었다. 이와같은 문제점을 해결하고 보다 효율적인 시청각교재 관리를 위해 다음과 같이 제언한다. 1. 명문화된 선정정책과 기준 및 노후되 교재에 대한 폐기규정을 마련한다. 2. 충분한 교재가 제공되도록 행정적 지원이 있어야 한다. 3. 활발한 교재제작이 이루어져야 한다. 4. 통일되고 일반적인 분류방법을 마련해야 한다. 5. 시청각센타내에 통합된 목록이 요구된다. 6. 적절한 시청각교재의 보관시설을 고안한다. 7. 교수 뿐 아니라 학생을 위해서도 대출이 이루어질 수 있도록 행정적 지원과 협조를 해야 한다.
