가요형식에 대한 각 이론서의 비교연구

Abstract

본 논문에서는 온음계적 조성 체계가 절정에 이르렀던 공통 관습시대의 음악을 중심으로 여러 가지 가요형식 중에서도 2부분 형식과 3부분 형식을 주로 다루었다. 왜냐하면 이 두 형식이 가요형식의 대부분을 차지하고 있으며 또한 그 구분이 가장 모호하여 이론가들 간에 의견의 합치를 보지 못하는 형식들이기 때문이다. 필자는 여러 학자들의 이론서를 비교 검토하여 가요형식을 결정하는 요인에 어떤 것이 있으며 이 요인들은 학자에 따라 어떻게 다르게 또는 공통되게 설명되고 있는가를 살펴보았다. 때로 학자들은 한 악곡에 대하여 서로 다른 형식적 판단을 내리는 경우가 있다. 이것은 두 학자가 형식을 결정하는 요인 중에서 각각 다른 항목을 더욱 비중있게 생각하기 때문이다. 가요형식을 결정하는 요인에는 종지, harmonic movement, 주제적 소재, 반복, 소절수, 템포 등 여섯 가지 항목이 있었는데, 이것이 중요한 것은 사실이다. 필자는 본론에서 각 이론가들의 형식에 대한 견해 및 형식을 결정하는 요인들에 대한 견해들을 항목별로 자세히 검토해 보았으며 결론에서 각 이론가들의 견해들이 가진 타당성과 문제점을 종합적으로 지적하였다.;The thesis dealt mainly with two-part form, and three-part form, from among many song form, in use and in common-practice during the period when the diatonic tonal system reached its peak. These two forms occupy the most of song form, and the theorists hardy agree with each other about the classification of the these two song form. Theoreticions Could hardly reach a consensus so the classification of these two term remained uncertain. The present did comparative studies on the written theories of many scholars to search for those primary factors which decide song form. Further, The writer examined the primary factors to see how different scholar have illustrated their opinions, depending on each scholar. At times. scholars have had occasions to make formal judgements, disagreed with each other, concerning certain pieces. This was because the two scholars respectively thought differently about a certain item among the primary factors which determine forms. It is important that there are sixfactors determining song form-cadence, harmonic movement, thematic material, repetition, bars, and tempo, The researcher examined many theorists opinions about forms and factors which determine them, item by item in detail and in conclusion indicated validities and problems of theorists opinions.
