北韓의 政治社會化에 關한 硏究

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 北韓의 政治社曾化 政策, 過程 및 그 結果가 갖는 體制的 機能을 분석하여 北韓政治文化의 특징과 政治體制의 動態的 性格을 이해하는 것이다. 北韓의 政治文化늘 보다 더 의도적이고 명시적인 성격을 띄며, 또 政治社會化 過程에 대한 보다 전면적이고 철저한 통제가 가해지고 있다는 것이 특징이다. 결국 北韓에서의 政治社會化는 社會 또는 大衆에 대한 政權엘리뜨의 政治敎化를 의미한다. 本 硏究에서는 社會化되는 個人의 政治的定向 분석보다는 社會化하는 者의 측면 즉 體制的 次元이 分析에 중점을 두고 있다. 본 연구는 크게 세 부분으로 나누어져 있다. 첫째로 第Ⅱ章에서는 北韓의 政治社會化政策에 관한 분석이다. 여기서는 먼저 政治社會化와 관련된 「思想敎養」의 전개과정을 北韓體制의 樹立, 變革, 强化, 統合, 등의 발전단계와 관련시켜 검토하고 있다. 다음으로 北韓의 社會主義敎育理論의 수립과 政治思想敎育이 우선되는 敎育政策의 내용이 분석된다. 또 여기서는 政治社會化의 수단으로 동원되는 北韓社會科學의 政治的 役割이 검토된다. 둘째로 第三章에서는 北韓의 政治社會化過程에 대한 분석이다. 여기서는 家庭의 變革, 學校敎育의 擴大, 組織活動의 强化 등과 같은 公式的 構造의 擴大過禮을 중심으로 政浩社會化 構造의 변화와 媒體의 現況이 분석된다. 셋째로 第三章에서는 北韓에서 政冶社會化가 수행하는 體制的 機能이 검토된다. 여기서는 革命的인 共産主義政治體制의 發展段階와 관련시켜 北韓의 政治社曾化 政策이 아직 動員化의 목표에 머물러 있음을 확인한다. 결론적으로 北韓의 政浩社會化 分析에는 社會內의 支配集團으로부터 被支配集團으로 政治的 이데올로기가 어떻게 이전되는가를 중시하는 도우슨(Richard E.Dawson)의 「支配論理로서의 政治社會化」槪念을 적용하는 것이 타당하며. 이것은 또 北韓政治를 政權과 社會, 리더쉽과 大衆의 관계로 연관하여 파악하는 理論的 洞察을 제공해준다.;The purpose of this study is to examine the political socialization in North Korea with special reference of policy and process. Distinctive characteristics of political socialization in North Korea is its purposiveness and total control over the process. Political socialization in North Korea means the political indoctrination of the people by the power elites. This study is divided into three parts as follows. 1. The First part is the analysis of political socialization policies. In this part, the developmental process of ideological education, the theory of socialist education, and the role of social sciences in North Korea are examined in the relations with political socialization. 2. The Second part is the analysis on the process of political socialization. In this part, the transformation of family as a socialization agent, the expansion of formal structures, such as the schools, social organizations, and the development of mass media are examined. 3. The Third part is dealt with system functions of political socialization in North Korea being compared with other communist and non-communist political systems. In conclusion, it is apparent that in the study on political socialization in North Korea the 'hegemonic" concept of richard Dawson which emphasize how political ideology is transmitted from the dominant to the dominated groups in society is very useful. Such a concept of political socialization is expected to contribute the studies of North Korean politics in the settings of North Korean politics in the settings of regime-society, or elite-mass relationship with theoretical insights.
