유아의 사회성숙정도에 미치는 어머니 양육태도 및 교육배경에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 어머니가 아동을 양육하는 태도의 경향을 파악하고 어머니 양육태도가 어린이의 사회적성숙에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가 규명하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 이것을 위해 어머니 양육태도와 어머니 교육수준과의 관계, 어린이 사회성숙도와 어머니 교육수준과의 관계와 어린이 사회성숙도와 어머니 양육태도의 상호관계를 알아보았다. 구체적인 연구문제는 1. 어린이의 사회성숙도 하위요인과 어머니의 교육수준과는 관계가 있는가? 2. 어머니 양육태도와 교육수준과는 관계가 있는가? 3. 어머니 양육태도 하위요인과 교육수준과는 관계가 있는가? 4. 어머니 양육태도와 어린이의 사회성숙도와는 관계가 있는가? 5. 어머니 양육태도 하위요인과 어린이 사회성숙도 하위요인과는 관계가 있는가? 본 연구의 대상은 경기도 반월의 1개 유치원에 다니는 만 4~5세 어린이 80명과 이들의 어머니 80명이다. 이 연구에 사용한 도구는 한국행동과학 연구소에서 제작한 사회성숙도 검사와 어머니 양육태도를 조사하기 위해 코리안 테스팅센터에서 제작한 오기선의 어버이와 자녀관계 진단검사를 이용하였다. 연구결과는 각 변인간에 x^(2)검증과 유의도로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. A. 사회성숙도 1. 스스로하기(Autonomy), 운동하기(Locomotion)는 성숙도가 높았으나 다른 사람과 어울리기(Socialization)과 의사전달(Communication)은 성숙도가 높지 않았다. 2. 운동하기, 스스로하기, 바른사람과 어울리기는 어머니 교육수준과 관계가 없었다. 3. 의사전달과 어머니 교육수준과는 관계가 있었다. B. 양육태도 1. 반응이 높은 어머니 양육태도의 순서로 보면 간섭형, 엄격형, 적극적거부, 모순형, 맹종형, 불안형, 불일치형, 익애형 소극적거부, 기대형의 순서로 양육태도를 취하고 있다. 2. 어머니 양육태도 하위요인 중 모순 불일치형과 교육수준은 관계가 있으나 그밖의 요인과 교육수준과는 관계가 없다. C. 어린이 사회성숙도와 어머니 양육태도와의 상호관계 1. 양육태도 불안형과 모순형은 사회성숙도의 운동하기와 관계가 있다. 2. 양육태도 간섭형은 스스로하기와 의사전달간에 높은 상관이 있다. 3. 불안형과 간섭형은 다른 사람과 어울리기에 관계가 있다. 4. 간섭형의 양육태도는 어린이의 사회성숙도와 관계가 있다.;The purpose of this study was to investigate the tendency of mother's rearing attitude and impact of mother's educational attitude on an children social maturity. The study further examined the relationship of mother's academic background to her rearing attitude and the relationship between the children social maturity and mother's attitude of educating children. Study problems are detailed as follows: 1. The relationship between children's social maturity and mother's academic background. 2. The relationship between children social maturity and mother's academic background. 3. The relationship between mother's education attitude and her academic background. 4. The relationship between mother's rearing attitude variables and academic background. 5. The relationship between mother's rearing attitude and children social maturity. 6. The relationship between mother's rearing attitude variables and children social maturity. The subjects of this study are 80 children of four and five years old attending the kindergarten at Panwol in Kyeong-gi province and their 80 mothers. The instruments employed in the study are: The Investigation of Social Maturity by Korea Behavior Science Research Institute and the Diagnosis of Parents-Children Relationship by OH Gi Sun published by Korea Testing Institute. x^(2) was computed for data analyse. The major results of this study are as follows; A. Social Maturity 1. Autonomy and Locomotion had a high relationship with social maturity while socialization and communication did not. 2. Autonomy, Locomotion and socialization had no relation with the mother's academic background. 3. Communication had relation with mother's academic background. B. Rearing Attitude 1. Repouse to rearing attitudes are shown in following order : Interference type, austerity type, positive refusal, inconsistency type, submission type, uneasiness type, disagreement type, dotage type, negative refusal, expectation type. 2. Among the variables of rearing attitude variables inconsistency type and disagreement type have relation with academic background, but the other variables do not. C. Correlation between social maturity and rearing attitude. 1. Uneasiness type and inconsistency type have influence on Locomotion. 2. Interference type has high correlation with Autonomy and Locomotion. 3. Uneasiness type and Interference type have influence on socialization. 4. Interference type has relation with children social maturity.
