웹기반 형성평가를 위한 플랫폼 설계 및 구현

Abstract

요즘은 컴퓨터 공학과 정보통신 기술의 비약적인 발전으로 각종 정보 통신망을 통하여 전세계적으로 분포되어 있는 다양한 형태의 수많은 정보에 손쉽게 접근할 수 있다. 이제는 인터넷만 가능하다면 누구나 언제 어디서나 필요한 정보들을 쉽게 활용할 수 있다. 예컨대, 교사가 학생을 가르치기 위해 필요한 교수자료나, 학생들이 스스로 학습하기 위해 필요한 학습자료, 그리고 교수-학습의 과정이나 결과를 평가하기 위한 평가 자료들도 누구나 언제 어디서나 쉽게 활용할 수 있게 되었다. 그 가운데 웹기반의 문제은행은 교사나 학생, 그리고 일반 교육 수요자가 교수-학습 활동의 질을 관리하기 위해서 유용하게 활용할 수 있으며, 교육과정이나 교과서가 바뀌거나 입시제도나 시험의 형태가 바뀔 때마다 적절한 형태의 교수-학습 평가 문제들을 제공하므로써 누구나 언제 어디서나 진단 평가, 형성 평가, 총합 평가등 각종 평가를 실시하는 데 많은 도움을 받을 수 있다. 그중 웹기반 형성 평가는, 종이로 평가를 하고 교사의 설명으로 즉각적인 피드백을 주는 기존의 형성평가에서 교사 한명이 감당해야할 학생 수에 비해, 형성평가를 치루는 학생이라면 그 수에 상관없이 개별적인 피드백이 가능하다. 이러한 장점을 모아서 실제로 구현한 것이 웹기반 형성평가를 위한 플랫폼이다. 웹기반 형성평가를 위한 플랫폼은 관련 분야 전문가들이 평가와 관련된 문제지를 언제 어디서나 쉽게 제작할 수 있도록 하여 DB에 저장한 후, 원하기만 하면 누구나 정보 통신망을 이용하여 교수-학습 과정에서 이들 데이터를 활용할 수 있도록 하였다. 이렇게 함께 공유한 DB는 특정 영역의 교수-학습 과정에서 필요한 시험문제들을 개별적으로 출제하는 것보다 시간과 노력을 줄일 수 있고, 양질의 평가를 실시할 수 있는 이점이 있다. 또한 교수-학습 관련 평가 DB의 내용을 가능하면 학년별, 교과별, 수준별 등으로 다양하면서도 체계적으로 구성할 수 있어 교사나 학생이 원하는 내용을 쉽게 찾을 수 있도록 하였다. 특히 조회수, 만족도 등으로 사용 현황을 파악할 수 있도록 하여 관련 자료들을 학교나 가정에서 양질의 원하는 평가 문제에 쉽게 접근할 수 있도록 하였다. ; With the aid of the rapid growth of computer science and communication technology, it has become easy for us to have access to various types of information through communication networks which are widely spread all over the world. If one has access to internet, he/she can easily make use of information that he/she needs anytime and anywhere. For example, anybody can find teaching materials for teachers, learning materials for self controled studies, and testing materials to assess the process or the results of teaching and learning at all times. Among many other things, a web based item pool can be used effectively by teachers, students, and general education suppliers as a tool to supervise the quality of teaching/learning activities. Everytime the curriculum, the textbook, or the system of examination changes, by providing appropriate evaluation, anyone can get help at all times in having various kinds of evaluations such as diagnosis evaluation, form evaluation, and total evaluation. Among these, if we look into the existing form evaluation - which takes the pattern of written tests and feedbacks that are given by the teachers immediate explanations- the number of students outgrows the number of teachers. But in the web based form evaluation, no matter how many students there are, individual feedbacks are possible. Gathering the merits, I have embodied the platform for a web based form evaluation . The platform for a web based form evaluation will enable the experts to easily author problems related to evaluation anytime and anywhere and to have them saved in the DB, thus making it possible for anyone to have access to them through the communication network and make use of them in the process of teaching and learning. The co-owned DB will help save time and trouble that can be consumed while making testing questions individually and it has an advantage of providing good quality evaluation. Also, if possible, it can form the content of the DB evaluation, which is related to teaching and learning, classified by grades, subjects, and level variously and systematically. Thus, making it easy for the teachers who are in need. Especially, anyone who is related in the field can produce them and it is made possible to grasp the present state of usage by the number if inquiry. By storing various and rich materials it is going to make it possible for anyone to have access to fine quality evaluation at schools and homes whenever needed.
