웹 기반 멀티미디어 유아교육 시스템의 구현

Abstract

전 세계를 하나의 통신망으로 연결하는 인터넷의 출현은 사회 전체에 걸쳐 커다란 변화를 가져오고 있다. 불과 10년 전만 해도 컴퓨터를 차갑고 딱딱한 매체이며, 특정 분야에서만 주로 사용되는 도구로 여겼다. 컴퓨터가 이렇게 다채로운 색상의 그래픽, 애니메이션, 소리, 동영상들을 가진 현실처럼 생생한 매체가 될 줄은 몰랐다. 우리는 이제 인터넷에 접속하지 못하는 공간을 찾아보기 힘든 지경에 이르렀으며, 이제 머지않아 우리의 아이들은 배낭에 자그마한 노트북 컴퓨터를 넣고 다니며 인터넷을 활용하게 될 것이다. 인터넷의 등장과 함께, 컴퓨터는 항상 우리 곁에 있는 친근한 존재가 되었으며, 인터넷의 네트워크 공간은 우리의 활동 무대가 되는 것이다. 이러한 때에, 우리는 앞으로의 세대를 살아가게 될 우리의 아이들을 가르치는 유아교육에 대해서도 생각해 보아야 할 것이다. 화려한 색상의 책, 잘 구성된 TV 프로그램이나 비디오, 훌륭한 교육기관... 모든 것이 다 중요하겠지만, 생생하고 열린 공간인 인터넷에서, 우리는 이제, 다른 매체들에서 얻을 수 있는 것 이상을 얻게 될 것이다. 유아교육에 있어 가장 기초가 되는 기본 인지에서부터 감성지능의 향상, 창의성의 함양은 컴퓨터와 인터넷을 통해서, 더욱 극대화될 수 있을 것이다. 따라서, 본 연구는, 유아용 인터넷 사이트 평가 기준을 재정립하여 기존의 유아 교육용 인터넷 사이트를 분석하고, 비교 평가하였으며, 그에 따라 가장 적합한 웹 기반 통합 멀티미디어 유아교육용 시스템을 구현하려고 노력하였다. 시각과 청각이 발달되어 있는 유아를 대상으로, 다양한 색과 모양, 그림을 보여주는 것, 생생한 자연의 소리와 음악을 시각적인 자극과 함께 제시하는 것은 인지 차원을 넘어 창의적인 교육 활동이 될 것이다. 사물인지 영역에서도, 교육 자체가 하나의 인지에서 그치는 것이 아니라, 유아의 사고를 확장시키고, 유아 스스로 생각할 수 있도록 하였으며, 또래끼리 서로 얼굴을 보며 만날 수 있는 공간을 마련하여 직접 얼굴을 맞대고 만나는 것에서 얻을 수 없는 느낌과 생각을 가질 수 있도록 구성하였다. 본 연구가 구현한 내용은 유아교육 활동의 극히 일부분에 대한 구현이며, 앞으로 더 확장되고 세분화된 시스템 개발의 동기가 될 수 있기를 기대한다. ; An appearance of internet that combine the whole world into a network of communication brings big change to the whole society. About 10 years ago, computers were regarded as things are strange and unfamiliar and used in particular fields. Nobody knew that computers would be a live instrument that had Graphic of various colors, Animation, Sounds, and Moving Picture. We can easily find the all over the country used internet. In the near future, we will see that our children carry the notebook computer in their rucksack and use it. Computers become familiar friend with an appearance of internet and the network space of internet become the very space of our activity. We have to think over the education of children who will live next generation. Colorful books, well-organized TV program, an excellent educational institution may be important to children but in wide-opened internet they can learn more important things than in other media. A basic human intellect, sensitivity, and creativity can be mostly improved in computer and internet. This research arrange, analyze, and compare appraisal standard of infant educational internet site and try to realize adequate multimedia infant educational system which based on web. Showing various color, shape and picture and presenting vivid sound and music with visual stimulus will stimulate the sensitivity and will be creative education. Education will not mean only one acknowledgement but expend children s thinking, make them think over by themselves, and imagine. Moreover offering the space where they can come face to face will give them different feeling and thinking. This research will be very small fraction in infant education, but I eagerly hope that this research will a motive in development of more expended and specific infant education.
