자기조절 학습 훈련 후 학업성취 수준에 따른 자기조절 학습 전략 사용의 변화 : 초등학교 5학년 수학과를 중심으로

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate what is difference in using Self-regulated learning strategies according to the level of academic achievement and aims to investigate the change of self regulated-learning strategies after training self-regulated learning program. Hypothesis of this study are as follows : First, the high academic achievement children will use more Self-regulated learning strategies than the low academic achievement children. Second, Self-regulated learning will help to improve academic achievement. Third, we will see different change in using Self-regulated learning strategies according to the level of academic achievement(the first, the second, the third) after training Self-regulated learning program. This study investigated Self-regulated learning test, academic achievement test for the target of ninety children( 46 boys, 44 girls) who are the fifth grade at G elementary school which is located Sou-gu in Incheon. There are the first group(30), the second group(30), the third group(30) according to the level of academic achievement. The major result of this study on the hypothesis that we stated above, first, was that the higher academic achievement children are, the more Self-regulated learning strategies were used by children. The first group used more Self-regulated learning strategies than the second group. The second group used more Self-regulated learning strategies than the third group. Second, Self-regulated learning training helped to improve the academic achievement. The third group of academic achievement was no difference before and after training Self-regulated learning, while the first, second group of academic achievement were improved . Third, after training Self-regulated learning, the groups was distinguished by the increase of using strategy. self-evaluation and seeking peer, teacher, adult assistance were improved in the first group of academic achievement. Organizing and transforming, rehearsing and memorising, self-evaluation, keeping records and self-monitoring, seeking information and reviewing notes, tests, text books were improved in the second group. Rehearsing and memorising, seeking information were improved in the third group. This study investigated the degree of using Self-regulated learning according to the level of academic achievement. This research is important meaning to found the basic research of Self-regulated learning program and method for academic achievement improvement by way of knowing the change of using Self-regulated learning strategies according to the level of academic achievement.; 이 연구는 학업성취 수준에 따른 자기조절 학습 전략 사용의 차이를 알아보는 동시에, 자기조절 학습 훈련을 한 후에 자기조절 학습 전략의 변화를 알아보는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 구체적인 연구문제는 첫째, 학업성취 수준이 높은 아동이 학업성취 수준이 낮은 아동보다 자기조절 학습 전략을 많이 사용할 것인가? 둘째, 자기조절 학습 훈련이 학업성취 향상에 도움이 될 것인가? 셋째, 자기조절 학습 훈련 후 학업성취 수준(상, 중, 하)에 따라서 자기조절 학습 전략 사용의 변화가 다르게 나타날 것인가를 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 이 연구에서는 인천광역시 서구에 위치한 G초등학교 5학년 아동 90명(남 46명, 여 44명)을 대상으로 자기조절 학습 검사, 학업성취 검사를 실시하였다. 학업성취 수준에 따라서 상집단 30명, 중집단 30명, 하집단 30명으로 나누어 연구 문제에 따라 설정한 가설을 검증한 결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 학업성취가 높은 아동일수록 자기조절 학습 전략을 많이 사용하였다. 학업성취 상집단이 중집단보다 자기조절 학습 전략을 더 많이 사용하였고, 중집단이 하집단보다 자기조절 학습 전략을 더 많이 사용하였다. 둘째, 자기조절 학습 훈련은 학업성취 향상에 도움을 주었다. 학업성취가 상, 중인 집단에서는 학업성취가 향상된 것에 비하여, 학업성취가 하인 집단에서는 자기조절 학습 전과 후의 차이가 없었다. 셋째, 자기조절 학습 훈련 후 학업성취 수준에 따라 사용이 증가한 전략이 다르게 나타났다. 학업성취가 상인 집단에서는 자기조절 학습 전략 하위 요인중 자기 평가 전략, 사회적 도움 구하기 전략이 향상되었다. 학업성취가 중인 집단에서는 자기조절 학습 전략 하위 요인중 조직과 변환, 시연과 기억, 자기 평가, 기록유지와 점검, 정보 찾기, 기록물 복습, 환경 구성 전략이 향상되었다. 학업성취가 하인 집단에서는 자기조절 학습 전략 하위 요인중 시연과 기억 전략, 정보 찾기 전략이 향상되었다. 이 연구에서는 학업성취 수준에 따라서 자기조절 학습 전략의 사용 정도를 알아보고, 학업성취 수준에 따른 자기조절 학습 전략 사용의 변화를 알아봄으로써 자기조절 학습 프로그램 및 학업성취 향상을 위한 방법 연구에 기초를 마련한다는 점에서 그 의의가 있다.
