朝鮮時代 歷史資料考察을 통한 環境敎育의 可能性 模索에 관한 硏究

Abstract

본 연구는 환경수업교재에 역사적 접근과 그 도입의 가능성을 모색하고 학생들에게 과거 환경의 지속가능성을 유지시켰던 사상과 문화의 가치를 인식시키기 위한 수업에 사용할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하기 위해 수행되었다. 본 연구의 수행을 위해서 환경교육의 일반적인 특성을 살피고, 환경교과와 유사한 다른 교과에서의 역사적 접근을 교재에 도입한 사례를 통해 환경교육에서 역사적 접근의 중요성과 가능성을 모색하였으며, 조선시대 사상과 문화에서 환경적 지속가능성 개념을 내포한 역사자료를 중심으로 환경교육에 적용 가능한 기초자료를 수집하였다. 본 연구에서 이용한 역사자료의 시대적 범위는 조선시대이며, 연구수행을 위해서 국역조선왕조실록CD-ROM 의 대분류 4개 항목, 중분류40개 항목을 검색하였으며, 조선시대의 사상과 문화에 관한 연구문헌 중에서 현대 환경교육교재에 적용 가능한 자료를 발췌, 고찰하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 제시한 환경교육적 측면에서 바라본 조선시대의 환경과 관련된 역사자료의 특징은 사실성, 친자연성, 교훈성, 환경적지속가능성이며 이러한 특징을 이용한 환경교육교재의 역사적접근은 환경교사가 그들의 사회적, 교육적책임을 역사적 전통속에서 이해하도록 도와주며 학생들에게는 선조들의 삶을 통해 환경보전에 대한 생각을 재조명 해보도록 하여 바른 환경관을 수립하는데 도움이 될 수 있다는 가능성을 발견하였다. 역사자료의 조사, 고찰을 통하여 조선시대의 문헌자료 중 현대 환경교육의 내용과 관련된 환경관련 자료로는 조선시대의 자연환경관이 바탕이 된 정책결정근거의 사례, 산림(山), 수목(草木), 수질(水)문제와 자연재해의 관리에 관한 법전에 나타난 사례와 토속신앙의 환경윤리적 실천사례, 정원과 건축물, 예술품, 금기어를 통한 친자연적 삶의 실천사례, 서당교육교재 및 교육방법에 나타난 환경교육방법의 사례들이 있었다. 또한 조선시대의 문헌자료의 환경교육적 특징은 현재 환경교육에서 추구하는 생태윤리를 포함한 지속가능한개발(ESSD)개념에 부합함을 알 수 있었다.; This study is to identify the possibilities of an historical approach and its introduction in textbooks for environmental studies students. Furthermore, to provide the basic materials for understanding the value of the idea and culture that maintained the possibilities of consistency of the past environment. To conduct this study, the general characteristics of environmental education were examined. Also, we investigated the importance and the possibility of the historical approach in environmental education through the cases in which the historical approach was introduced into other courses similar to environmental education. Concentrating on the historical records containing the concept of the "possibilities of environmental consistency" in the ideology and culture of the Joseon dynasty, the applicable basic materials were collected for environmental education. We used the historical records of the Joseon dynasty and in order to conduct this study, we searched four items of a large classification and forty items of the middle classification of the "True Record of the Joseon Dynasty," that was translated into Korean. Moreover, in the research literature on the ideology and the culture of the Joseon dynasty, the materials that could be applicable to textbooks of modern environmental education were excerpted and examined. Through this study, we found the following. The historical approach of textbooks for environmental education was helpful for teachers of environmental education for understanding their social and educational responsibilities in the context of the historical tradition It is also helpful for students to illuminate the thoughts of environmental preservation through the lives of ancestors and to establish the proper view of the environment. In addition, through investigation of the historical records, it was confirmed that the records relating to the contents of modern environmental education, and to the methods of environmental education, do exist. Also, it was found that these records were suitable for the concept of ESSD(Environmentally Sound and Sustainable Development), including ecological morality, which has been pursued by modern environmental education.
