유치원 교사의 컴퓨터 교수 효능감 분석

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine differences in the efficiency of computer teaching according to the teacher s career, cognition of computer education, pre-experience and spending time of use of computer. For this purpose, four questions have been set up in this study as follows : 1. Is there any difference in the teacher s efficiency of computer teaching according to the teacher s career? 2. Is there any difference in the teacher s efficiency of computer teaching according to the cognition of computer education? 3. Is there any difference in the teacher s efficiency of computer teaching according to the pre-experience of use of computer? 4. Is there any difference in the teacher s efficiency of computer teaching according to the spending time of use of computer? To examine four problems, this study followed several steps. The participants of this study were 207 teachers working at kindergartens in Seoul. As the study tool, a questionnaire was used. The questionnaire modified STEBI(Science Teaching Efficacy Belief Instrument). There are 25 questions in it, which are measured by using 5 point likert type scale. Each frequency and percentile of collected data were processed as teacher s personal variables and the analysis of the data, the ANOVA and t-test were used in order to ascertain significant differences caused by teacher s career, cognition of computer education, pre-experience and spending time of use of computer. The findings are as follows : 1. The teacher s efficiency of computer teaching is not different according to the teacher s career. 2. The teacher s efficiency of computer teaching is not different according to the cognition of computer education. 3. The teacher s efficiency of computer teaching is different according to the pre-experience of use of computer. The teachers experienced in learning computer at university, have higher efficiency of computer teaching than others who did not learn. 4. The teacher s efficiency of computer teaching is different according to the spending time of use of computer. The teachers who spend more time in using computer, have higher efficiency of computer teaching than others who did not. In conclusion, the teacher s efficiency of computer teaching is affected by teacher s pre-experience and spending time of use of computer. ; 본 연구의 목적은 교사의 컴퓨터 교수 효능감이 교사의 경력, 유아 컴퓨터 교육 필요성 인식, 직전교육 경험 유무, 컴퓨터 사용시간에 따라 어떠한 차이가 있는지 알아보는 것이다. 이에 따른 구체적인 연구 문제는 다음과 같다. 1. 유치원 교사의 컴퓨터 교수 효능감은 교사의 경력에 따라 차이가 있는가? 2. 유치원 교사의 컴퓨터 교수 효능감은 교사의 유아 컴퓨터 교육 필요성 인식에 따라 차이가 있는가? 3. 유치원 교사의 컴퓨터 교수 효능감은 교사의 직전교육 경험 유무에 따라 차이가 있는가? 4. 유치원 교사의 컴퓨터 교수 효능감의 정도는 교사의 컴퓨터 사용 시간에 따라 차이가 있는가? 본 연구의 대상은 서울 시내에 소재한 유치원에 재직 중인 교사 총 207명이었다. 본 연구에서는 교사의 컴퓨터 교수 효능감이 교사의 경력, 유아 컴퓨터 교육 필요성 인식, 직전교육 경험 유무, 컴퓨터 사용 시간에 따라 어떠한 차이가 있는지 알아보기 위하여 교사용 설문지를 사용하였다. 설문지는 과학 교수 효능감 검사도구 Science Teaching Efficacy Belief Instrument(STEBI)를 변형하여 유치원 조직풍토와 직무만족 및 교사 효능감간의 관계를 밝힌 연구에서 사용한 교사 효능감 검사도구를 사용하였다. 그 중 어떤 활동 을 컴퓨터 활동 으로 변형하여 사용하였으며, 5점 척도의 25개 문항으로 이루어졌다. 수집된 자료는 교사의 개인적 변인별로 빈도와 백분율을 산출하였고, 교사의 경력, 유아 컴퓨터 교육 필요성 인식, 직전 교육 경험, 컴퓨터 사용 시간에 따라 교사의 컴퓨터 교수 효능감이 차이가 있는지 알아보기 위하여 일원분산 분석(ANOVA)과 t검증을 이용하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유치원 교사의 컴퓨터 교수 효능감은 교사의 경력에 따라 차이가 없었다. 교사의 경력은 유아 컴퓨터 교수 효능감에 영향을 미치지 않았다. 둘째, 유치원 교사의 컴퓨터 교수 효능감은 유아 컴퓨터 교육 필요성 인식에 따라 차이가 없었다. 교사의 유아 컴퓨터 교육에 대한 필요성 인식은 유아 컴퓨터 교수 효능감에 영향을 미치지 않았다. 셋째, 유치원 교사의 컴퓨터 교수 효능감은 교사의 대학에서의 직전교육 경험 유무에 따라서 차이가 있었다. 컴퓨터 관련 직전교육 경험이 있는 교사는 경험이 없는 교사보다 컴퓨터 교수 효능감이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 유치원 교사의 컴퓨터 교수 효능감은 교사의 컴퓨터 사용시간에 따라 차이가 있었다. 컴퓨터를 많이 사용하는 교사가 적게 사용하는 교사보다 컴퓨터 교수 효능감이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과에 비추어 볼 때, 교사의 직전교육 경험, 컴퓨터 사용시간은 유치원 교사의 컴퓨터 교수 효능감에 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있다.
