교무업무지원시스템 중 성적관리와 건강기록부 영역의 웹 기반 설계 및 구현

Abstract

After the start of development in 1997, School Information Management System has been in use to effectively support school management by quickly and accurately evaluating information about management and administration affairs. It has also brought great changes to the education administration in that it reduced the education administration operation costs and achieved the most volunteer administration. But this system, made based on Client/Server, lacks compatibility with other programs and does not allow school DBs to be used with different information systems easily. The current spread of the internet has made possible the flow of information regardless of time and place. But the grade, middle, and high school which is the basis of education, still has problems in using the School Information Management System that is used to reduce the teacher s work. This thesis analyzes the problems that arises in the School Information Management System currently in use at middle schools. As a result, we researched the expected effect when web characteristics are applied to the information management system. Based on these researches, we developed and implemented the school business support system, one of four systems of Middle School General Information Management System comprised of school business support system, education information circulation, school administration business support, and education information integrated guide, using XML which is a language that allows user defined tags. Herewith, we allowed for authorized users such as teachers, students, and parents to share information without limitations of time and place and made open education possible. ; 1997년부터 개발되기 시작하여 사용하고 있는 초·중등학교종합정보관리시스템은 학사 및 경영에 관한 정보를 신속·정확하게 파악하여 학교 운영을 효율적으로 지원해 왔다. 또한 봉사행정의 극대화를 이루고 교육행정 운영비를 절감했다는 점에서 교육행정에 커다란 변혁을 가져왔다. 현재 인터넷의 확산은 시·공을 초월한 정보의 흐름을 가능하게 하였다. 그러나 아직도 교육의 기본이 되고 있는 초·중등학교에서는 교사의 업무를 경감시키기 위해 사용하는 초·중등학교종합정보관리시스템이 현 상황을 충분히 수렴하지 못함으로써 사용상의 문제점을 가지고 있다. 클라이언트/서버(Client/Server) 기반으로 제작된 이 시스템은, 학교 DB를 타 정보시스템에서 연계 활용할 수 있는 기능과 다른 프로그램과의 호환성에 있어 그 약점을 가진다. 본 논문은 현재 활용되고 있는 초·중등학교종합정보관리시스템과 그 중 한 영역인 교무업무지원시스템의 구성 및 문제점을 분석하였다. 그 결과 교무업무지원시스템의 기능 강화를 위한 개발 전략을 모색하여, 웹 기반의 교무업무지원시스템을 활용했을 때의 기대 효과를 연구하였다. 이러한 연구를 기반으로 초·중등학교종합정보관리시스템의 교무업무지원, 교육정보유통, 학교경영업무지원, 교육정보통합안내의 네 가지 시스템 중 교무업무지원시스템의 성적관리와 건강기록부 영역을 웹 기반으로 설계 및 구현하였다. 이로써 교사, 학생, 학부모 등 허가된 정보 이용자가 시·공간적 제약없이 정보를 공유할 수 있도록 하며, 이를 바탕으로 열린교육체제가 가능하도록 하였다.
