러시아 신문에 보도된 한반도 뉴스 특성에 대한 연구

Abstract

이 연구는 러시아 언론에서 보도하는 한반도 관련 뉴스가 얼마나 객관적으로 전달되고 있는지 알아보기 위한 문제의식에서 출발하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 기사내용분석을 통해 러시아 신문에서 보도된 한반도와 관련된 뉴스 기사의 일반적인 특성인 기사의 길이, 유형, 주제, 정보원, 작성자 등을 분석할 것이다. 또한 한반도에 대한 러시아 신문의 전반적인 보도태도를 분석함으로써 한반도에 대한 이미지가 어떻게 형성되고 있는지 살펴보고자 한다. 즉, 러시아 언론에서 나타나는 한반도와 관련된 뉴스 보도를 분석함으로써 러시아에서 한반도의 이미지를 구성하는 요소들이 무엇인지를 알아보고, 보도 대상을 남한과 북한으로 구분하여 뉴스주제와 뉴스 보도관점의 측면에서 어떻게 다르게 전달되고 있는지 그 차이를 살펴보고자 한다. 한반도(인)하면 어떤 맥락에서 무엇이 떠오르고, 러시아인들의 머릿속에는 한반도에 대하여 어떠한 마음의 지도가 있는지 알아보는 것이 본 논문의 초점이다. 지금까지 한반도의 이미지와 관련된 많은 연구들은 주로 외국 언론에 나타난 한반도의 이미지가 어떠한지 혹은 외국인들이 인식하는 한반도에 대한 이미지가 무엇인지에 대해 다루어 왔을 뿐 한반도의 국가이미지를 구성하는 요소들이 무엇인지 그리고 그 요소들 중 어떤 요소가 국가 이미지형성에 결정적으로 영향을 미치는지에 대해서는 주목하지 않았다. 이에 본 연구는 한반도의 국가 이미지를 구성하는 요소들은 무엇이며, 그러한 요소들 중 한반도의 국가 이미지 형성에 결정적으로 작용하는 요소가 무엇인지를 발견하는데 연구의 초점을 맞추었다. 지금까지 러시아에서의 한국 관련 연구들은 주로 한-러 전략적 협력 방안, 러시아의 한인 사회, 러시아의 한인 사회와 정체성의 변화 등과 관련된 연구들은 있었으나 러시아 언론의 한반도, 한국 관련 국제 뉴스의 특성 또한 러시아 국제 뉴스 보도에 나타난 한반도의 국가 이미지를 분석한 연구들이 많지 않았다는 점에서 본 연구의 의의를 찾을 수 있다.;The present research has started from the awareness of the problem which inquired how objectively the news related to the Korean Peninsula has been reported by Media of Russia. With the help of analyzing the contents of articles, the present study analyzes the general characteristics of news articles related to the Korean Peninsula including the length, form, theme, the sources, and the author which have been reported in Russian newspapers. In addition, by examining the overall reporting attitude of Russian newspapers towards the Korean Peninsula, the paper looks into how the image of Korean Peninsula is being formed. In other words, by analyzing news reports of Russian media related to the Korean Peninsula, the paper investigates the elements that form the image of Korean Peninsula in Russia; after subdividing into South Korea and North Korea, the paper looks into the differences of how it is being reported regarding the news subject and standpoint of news reports. The focal point of the present research paper is to investigate what occurs to the Russian people when they hear of the Korean Peninsula or someone from the Korean Peninsula in various contexts and what minds of map exist in Russian people’s mind about the Korean Peninsula. The researches about the image of Korea that have been conducted up to date were about how the image of the Korean Peninsula which appeared in foreign media was or the researches dealt with how foreigners appreciated the image of the Korean Peninsula only; they did not focus on what are the elements that formed the national image of the Korean Peninsula and which elements among them had a decisive influence on the formation of Korea’s national image. Therefore, the present research paper focuses on finding out what are the elements that form the national image and which elements among them acts on a decisive influence on the national image of Korean Peninsula. Up to the present, among the researches that have been conducted in Russia, there have been researches related to strategic partnerships between Korea and Russia, Korean society in Russia, the changes in the identity of Koreans in Russia and etc; the present research paper is significant because there were few researches which analyzed the characteristics of international news related to the Korean Peninsula and the Republic of Korea that were reported by Russian Media as well as the national image of the Korean Peninsula that appeared in international news reports of Russia.
