유아를 위한 수학교육 CD-ROM title의 내용 및 품질 분석

Abstract

본 연구는 시중에 유통되고 있는 유아를 위한 수학교육 CD-ROM Title의 내용과 품질을 국내·외 개발사 별로 알아보고 그 분석사례를 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 이에 따른 구체적인 연구 문제는 다음과 같다. 1. 시중에 유통되고 있는 유아를 위한 수학교육 CD-ROM Title의 내용은 무엇인가? 1-1. 시중에 유통되고 있는 유아를 위한 국내 개발사 수학교육 CD-ROM Title의 내용은 무엇인가? 1-2. 시중에 유통되고 있는 유아를 위한 국외 개발사 수학교육 CD-ROM Title의 내용은 무엇인가? 2. 시중에 유통되고 있는 유아를 위한 수학교육 CD-ROM Title의 품질은 어떠한가? 2-1. 시중에 유통되고 있는 유아를 위한 국내 개발사 수학교육 CD-ROM Title의 품질은 어떠한가? 2-2. 시중에 유통되고 있는 유아를 위한 국외 개발사 수학교육 CD-ROM Title의 품질은 어떠한가? 3. 시중에 유통되고 있는 유아를 위한 수학교육 CD-ROM Title 중, 상·하위 10% CD-ROM Title의 분석 사례는 어떠한가? 본 연구의 대상은 2000년 7월 31일 현재까지 출시되어 시중에 유통되고 있는 CD-ROM Title 중 유아를 위한 수학교육 CD-ROM Title 59개다. CD-ROM Title 선정은 인터넷 사이트와 시내 CD-ROM Title 대형 유통매장 3곳으로 하였으며 인터넷 사이트와 유통매장에서 제시하는 CD-ROM Title 소개서나 판매목록상의 분류를 중심으로 선정하였다. CD-ROM Title의 내용을 분석하기 위하여 제6차 유치원 교육과정 탐구생활 영역 중 수학적 탐구 내용을 연구자가 보완하여 사용하였다. 그리고 품질을 분석하기 위하여 Buckleitner에 의해 개발된 「Children's Software Revue(CSR) 소프트웨어 평가도구」를 사용하였다. 연구 절차는 1, 2차 내용분석 후 품질 분석을 하였다. 자료분석 방법은 내용을 분석하기 위해 빈도와 백분율을 산출하였다. 품질을 분석하기 위해서는 CSR 평점의 평균을 구하였으며 평점별 빈도와 백분율을 산출하였다. 또한 CSR 평점 최상·하위에 해당하는 CD-ROM Title을 내용과 CSR 각 영역별로 사례를 제시하며 비교하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 시중에 유통되고 있는 유아를 위한 수학교육 CD-ROM Title의 내용을 분석한 결과 국내·외 개발사 모두 '수에 대한 기초개념 이해하기'와 관련된 내용을 주로 개발하였다. 그러나 국내에 소개된 국외 개발사 CD-ROM Title이 국내 개발사 CD-ROM Title보다 내용 면에서 좀 더 고른 경향을 보였다. 그리고 국내 개발사 CD-ROM Title의 경우 기능 위주의 내용이 많이 개발되었다. 둘째, 시중에 유통되고 있는 유아를 위한 수학교육 CD-ROM Title의 품질을 분석한 결과 국내 개발사 수학교육 CD-ROM Title은 CSR 평점 2점 이상-3점 미만의 CD-ROM Title이 주로 개발되었다. 사용의 용이성 영역에서 가장 높은 평점을 받고, 디자인의 특성 영역에서 가장 낮은 평점을 받았다. 반면 국내에 소개된 국외 개발사 CD-ROM Title은 CSR 평점 4점 이상의 CD-ROM Title이 주로 개발되었다. 디자인의 특성 영역에서 가장 높은 평점을 받고 가격에서 가장 낮은 평점을 받았다. 셋째, CSR 평점 상·하위 10% CD-ROM Title을 수학교육의 내용과 CSR 각 영역별로 분석한 결과, 수학교육의 내용면에서 상위 10% CD-ROM Title은 '분류하기와 순서짓기', '수에 대한 기초개념 이해하기'와 관련된 내용을 주로 개발하였다. 그리고 CSR 각 영역면에서 유아에게 적합한 면을 많이 가지고 있는 소프트웨어이었다. 하위 10% CD-ROM Title은 '수에 대한 기초개념 이해하기'와 관련된 내용을 주로 개발하였다. 그리고 CSR 각 영역 면에서 유아에게 부적합한 면을 많이 가지고 있는 소프트웨어이었다.;The purpose of this study is to examine the contents and quality of CD-ROM Title of mathematics education for early childhood which is being circulated by the internal and external development companies and present the analysis case. The concrete research questions of study to be based on it are as follows: 1. What is the contents of CD-ROM Title of mathematics education for early childhood which is being circulated ? 1-1. What is the contents of CD-ROM Title of mathematics education for early childhood which is being circulated by inland development company? 1-2. What is the contents of CD-ROM Title of mathematics education for early childhood which is being circulated by foreign development company? 2. How is the quality of CD-ROM Title of mathematics education for early childhood which is being circulated ? 2-1. How is the quality of CD-ROM Title of mathematics education for early childhood which is being circulated by inland development company? 2-2. How is the quality of CD-ROM Title of mathematics education for early childhood which is being circulated by foreign development company? 3. How is the analysis case of higher rank and lower rank of CSR grade 10% of CD-ROM Title of mathematics education for early childhood? The subject of this study is 59 CD-ROM Titles of mathematics education for early childhood of CD-ROM Titles being circulated in market up to now after being exhibited on the 31st of July in 2000. The choice of CD-ROM Title was made at internet site and 3 large-size circulation stores of CD-ROM Title in the city. This researcher chose centering around the classification in the letter of introduction of CD-ROM Title or the list of sales that internet site and circulation store present. So as to analyze the contents of CD-ROM Title, this researcher used the mathematical research contents out of the domain of research life of the 6th lundergarten curriculum by supplementing it. And, so as to analyze the quality, this researcher used the evaluation tool of software of Children's Software Revue(CSR) developed by Buckleitner. As for study procedure, this researcher performed quality analysis after the 1st and the 2nd analysis of contents. As for the method of data analysis, this researcher calculated frequency and percentage so as to analyze contents. So as to analyze quality, this researcher obtained the average of CSR grade and calcuated the frequency and percentage about grade distribution. In addition, this researcher compared CD-ROM Title to correspond to higher rank and lower rank of CSR grade 10%, presenting the cases by each domain of CSR. The results of this study are as follows: First, as the result that this researcher analyzed the contents of CD-ROM Title of mathematics education for early childhood which is being circulated in market, the contents related to 'understanding of basic concept about number' developed mainly in all the inland and foreign development companies. CD-ROM Title of foreign development company showed a little more even tendency than CD-ROM Title of inland development company in the side of contents. And, in case of CD-ROM Title of inland development company, the contents centering around function developed much. Second, as the result that this researcher analyzed the quality of CD-ROM Title of mathematics education for early childhood which is being circulated in market, CD-ROM Title of inland development company which CSR grade is beyond 2 and under 3 developed mainly. It obtained the highest grade in the domain of use easiness, and it obtained the lowest grade in the domain of design feature. As for CD-ROM Title of foreign development company which CSR grade is beyond 4 developed mainly. It obtained the highest grade in the domain of design feature, and it obtained the lowest grade in price. Third, as the result that this researcher analyzed the content and quality of higher and lower of CSR grade 10% of CD-ROM Title of mathematics education for early childhood of CSR grade, higher grade and lower grade CD-ROM Title contains contents related to sorting and ordering, understanding of basic concept about number. And higher grade CD-ROM Title is fit aspect of CSR grade for early childhood. Lower grade CD-ROM Title contains contents related to understanding of basic concept about number. And lower grade CD-ROM Title is not fit aspect of CSR grade for early childhood.
