兒童의 神槪念 調査硏究

Abstract

Ronald Goldman은 Jean Piget 理論을 宗敎敎育에 適用시켰다. 그러나 Goldman의 硏究를 一般兒童 宗敎敎育에 適用시키기에는 몇가지 제한점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 本 硏究에서는 Goldman이 宗敎敎育을 받은 兒童에만 局限시켰던 제한점을 理論的 硏究와 調査硏究를 통하여 一般兒童에게 擴張 補完하려고 한다. 理論的 背景에서는 Piaget의 知的 發達理論과 Piaget 理論에 根據해서 兒童의 神槪念을 硏究한 David Elkind와 Robert Williams의 硏究를 통해 兒童의 神槪念 形成, 發達, 表現樣相 等을 살펴보았고, 調査硏究에서는 理論硏究에서 얻은 시사點을 土臺로 宗敎敎育의 有無와 年令에 따른 兒童의 多樣한 神槪念의 變化相을 調査하였다. 本 硏究의 調査對象은 學校에서 意圖的으로 宗敎敎育을 實施하는 A幼稚園, A國民學校와 宗敎敎育을 實施하지 않는 B 幼稚園, B國民學校 兒童 各各 30名씩 120名이었다. 本 硏究의 調査道具는 그림과 인터뷰였고 調査한 神槪念은 3側面- 神의 型態, 神의 役割, 神의 存在場所- 에서 살펴보았다. 本 硏究의 結果는 다음과 같다. 1. 兒童은 나아가 들어감에 따라 神의 型態에 대해서 갖는 神人同型論約(Anthropomorphic) 思考가 차츰 減少했으며, 神의 存在場所에 대한 생각도 具體的인 곳에서 抽象的인 場所로 轉換해 갔고, 神의 能力 및 役割을 可視的 現象에서 非可視的 現象으로 擴張해 갔다. 2. 宗敎敎育을 받은 유치원 兒童은 받지 않은 兒童보다 神의 型態에 대해서 갖는 神人同型理論的 思考가 分明히 나타났으며, 神의 存在場所에 대해서도 抽象的인 場所로 轉換해 가는 中間段階가 나타났고, 神의 役割 및 能力을 可視的인 現象안에서 이해할 수 있었다. 3. 宗敎敎育을 받은 國民學校 兒童은 받지 않은 兒童보아 神의 型態에 대해서 갖는 神人同型論的 思考가 차츰 減少되어 無形化 추세를 보였고, 神의 存在 場所에 대하서도 具體的인 주변의 可視的인 場所로부터 漸次 非可視的이고 抽象的인 場所로 옮겨가는 변화를 보였으며, 神의 役割이나 能力面에서도 주변의 可視的 物質的 現象에서 脫皮하여 보다 倫理的이고 宗敎的인 現象에 대한 이해로 轉換시켜 가고 있었다. 以上의 事實을 綜合하면 宗敎敎育의 有無와 知的 發達은 神槪念 發達에 直接的 영향의 요인이 되었다고 본다. 宗敎敎育은 各各의 知的 發達段階 안에서 兒童에게 多樣하고 發展的인 神槪念의 經驗을 提供하여, 神槪念의 內容的 폭을 豊富하게 하였다. 그리고 나이에 따른 知的發達은 宗敎敎育에서 얻은 多樣한 經驗을 포괄하고 抽象化하는 神槪念 形成 變化에 크게 作用하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.;This thesis is written to furnish the fundamental materials about the child religion education. Ronald goldman applied the Piaget theory in Religion education. But his study had imitata-tions which applied child religion education in kindergarten. The study employed Piaget theory and God concept which progressed by David Elind and Robert Williams on the basis of piaget. On the basis of the theory by three scholars, the method and cause to express "God-concept" seen in children and the process to interalize the chang is dealt in this paper. On this theoretical background, the variation of God concept by children according to the presence of religion education and age is studied. The subjects of this investigation in the study is one hundred twenty children of E kindergarten, E primary school which give religion education and B kindergarten, B primary school which don't give religion education in random sampling. The means of this investigation in this paper is drawings, and interview. God concept in this paper is studied in three aspects ; God form, role, exestence place. The result of this study is as follows. 1. As children develope from preoperation period to concrete operation stage, anthropomorphic thought of God form is gradually diminshed and the thought about existence place of God transferred from concrete place to abstract place and the thought about the role and power of God is extended from visible phenomenon to invisible. 2. To the religion education children in preoperational stage, the anthropomorphic thinking about God form is more apparently showed than the non-religion educated children and thier thinking about existence place of God is transferred to mid-stage going to abstract place and thier thinking about the power and role of God is extended to visible phenomenon. 3. To the religion educated children in the concrete operational stage, the anthropomorphic thinking about God form is more likely diminished then non-religion educated children and their thinking about existence place of God is transferred to abstract place and their thinking about the role and power of God is extended to invisible phenomenon, especially moral and religioous phenomenon. As shown in the result of this study, child religion education affords various experience to children in respective development stage and enrichs contents of God concept. On the other hand, the transition accompanied with development stage offer to form abstract concept including various experiences.
