유아의 창의성과 놀이성(Playfulness)과의 관계

Abstract

본 연구는 만 5세 유아를 대상으로 유아의 창의성과 놀이성과의 관계와 유아의 창의성과 놀이성에서 성차가 나타나는지에 대해 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이와 같은 연구목적에 따라 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하였다. 1. 유아의 창의성은 성에 따라 차이가 있는가? 2. 유아의 놀이성은 성에 따라 차이가 있는가? 3. 유아의 창의성과 놀이성과는 어떠한 관계가 있는가? 본 연구대상은 경기도 분당에 위치한 H유치원 만 5세 학급 유아63명이다. 연구도구는 유아의 창의성 측정도구와 놀이성 측정을 위한 평정 척도이다. 유아의 창의성 측정 도구는 Torrance의 창의적 사고력 검사 도형검사 A형 (TTCT-Figural Tests, Form A)을 사용하였다. 유아의 놀이성을 측정하기 위한 측정도구는 Barnett이 제작한 유아의 놀이성 척도(Children's Playfulness Scale)를 유애열(1994)이 번안하여 사용한 것으로 평정은 연구대상 유아의 담임 교사가 하였다. 수집된 자료는 두 독립표본 t검증과 Pearson의 단순 적률 상관관계를 구하고 중다희귀분석을 하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아의 창의성은 성에 따라 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 창의성의 총점과 창의성의 하위요인인 유창성, 독창성, 제목의 추상성, 정교성, 개방성의 점수에서도 성차는 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 유아의 놀이성 총점은 성별에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았으나 놀이성의 하위요인 중 신체적 자발성에서 남아가 여아보다 높은 점수를 나타냈으며 통계적으로 의의 있는 차이를 보였다. 넷째, 유아의 창의성과 놀이성과는 유의미한 정적인 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 창의성의 총점과 놀이성의 5가지 하위요인인 신체적 자발성, 사회적 자발성, 인지적 자발성, 즐거움의 표현, 유머감각에서 유의미한 정적상관이 있었고 놀이성의 총점과 창의성의 하위요인인 유창성, 독창성, 정교성, 개방성간에도 유의미한 정적상관이 있었으며, 놀이성에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 창의성의 하위요인은 유창성과 개방성이였다.;In this thesis, we examine the relationships between creativity and playfulness of a five-year old, and whether there are any differences in a five-year old's creativity and playfulness according to sex. The following research issues are set up based on the purpose of this research. 1. Are there any differences in creativity of a child according to sex? 2. Are there any differences in playfulness of a child according to sex? 3. What are the relationships between creativity and playfulness of a child? The subjects of this study are sixty-three children enrolled in a class made for five-year olds in H kindergarten located in Pundang, Kyunkido. For the research, TTCT-Figural Tests, Form A was used to measure the creativity of a child, and a translated version(Ae-Yul Yu, 1994) of Children's Playfulness Scale made by Barnett. was used to evaluate the playfulness of a child. The evaluation were done by the teacher in charge of the subject class. The compiled data were analyzed by two independent samples t test and Pearson's correlation analysis. The summary of this research are as follows： First, there were no difference between a child's creativity according to sex, The sexual differences also could not be observed in total score of the creativity and scores of the subordinate factors of the creativity such as fluency, originality, abstractness of title, elaboration, and resistance. Secondly, there weren't any significant difference according to sex, but boys received higher scores than girls in physical spontaneity and showed a statistically significant difference. Thirdly, there were significant statistical interrelations between creativity and playfulness of a child. The total score of the creativity and physical spontaneity, social spontaneity, cognitive spontaneity, manifest joy, and sense of humor, the five subordinate factors of playfulness, showed a significant static relationships, and there were also significant static relationships between the total score of the playfulness and the subordinate factors of creativities such as fluency, originality, elaboration, and resistance. And also the most effective subordinate factor of creativity that influences children's playfulness was fluency and resistance.
