컴퓨터실의 시설 설비에 관한 연구

Abstract

The modern society is getting to the information society which is generalized utilization of computer. And cultivating a capable man in the field of information is becomming a major task in education. In company with these, the computer education of commercial and technical high school which has been executed from 1970 is difficult because of qualified teacher security, deficiency of computer equipment and facilities, the lack of budget and the lack of administrative support. In order to utilize computer more effectively, plan and function of computer laboratory that is able to operate educational program and computer system is important. In Korea, the computer laboratory in commercial and technical high school is not operated effectively for lack of budget, administrative support, computer equipment and facilities. The purpose of this study is to survey the current status of computer laboratory of commercial and technical high school and to make proposal for an improvement in the operation of computer laboratory. To survey the current status, questionnaire survey for 308 teachers in charge of computer laboratory of commercial and technical high school in Korea. The problem raised in the result of survey are as follows: 1. Computer education was mainly carried out by unqualified teachers and security of teachers in charge of only computer education is revealed. 2. Most of teachers in charge of computer laboratory make concurrently instruction and management of computer laboratory. So, security of managewent personnel in computer laboratory is indicated as a matter. 3. Computer training is lacking profound contents, as the period and contents of computer training for the teachers in charge of computer laboratory is unbalanced. 4. Among the many obstacles in computer education, are in sufficiency of coursewares, computer equipments and facilities. 5. Policy in regard to selection of computer system and management of computer laboratory was not prepared. 6. The standard for establishing the computer laboratory is not prepared a t present. To Solve such problems and operate computer laboratory more effectively, this study makes some suggestions: 1, In order to insure qualified computer teachers, computer trainings for teachers should be highly qulified programs. And it is desirable to establish educational process in university curriculum of department of educational technology, commercial education, computer science. 2. Management personnel that manages the computer laboratory is required. 3. For the purpose of qulified teacher, planning computer trainings by systematic training to teachers process and method is necessary. 4. It is required to strengthen financial, administative support system for courseware, computer equipment and facilities. 5. Policy to select and manage computer system consistantly should be prepared for the sake of effective management of computer laboratory. 6. The adequate standards for establishment of computer room should be prepared.;현대는 급속도로 변해가는 과학기술 문명에 힘입어 고도의 정보화 사회로 전환되어가고 있으며 컴퓨터의 보급과 활용이 보편화됨에 따라 정보부문 인력양성이 교육의 주요 과제가 되고 있다. 이를 위하여 1970년부터 상업 및 공업고등학교에서는 전산교육을 실시하고 있으나 전문교사 확보의 어려움, 컴퓨터 시설의 부족, 예산의 부족 및 행정적 지원의 부족등으로 만족할 만한 효과를 거두지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 보다 효율적인 컴퓨터의 활용을 위해서는 컴퓨터 기자재 및 교육 프로그램을 수용할 수 있는 컴퓨터실의 계획 및 운영관리가 중요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 컴퓨터실의 기능 및 계획, 요원, 운영 그리고 환경적 설비에 관해 국내외의 관계문헌을 이론적으로 고찰해보고, 현재 우리나라 전국의 상업 및 공업고등학교의 컴퓨터실의 운영실태를 조사하여 나타난 문제점과 그에 따른 해결방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 전국의 308개 상업 및 공업고등학교의 컴퓨터실 담당교사를 대상으로 실시한 설문지 조사결과 드러난 문제점은 다음과 같다. 1. 전문적인 지식을 갖춘 교사가 부족하며 컴퓨터 교육만을 전적으로 담당하는 교사의 확보문제가 시급한 것으로 나타났다. 2. 컴퓨터 담당교사에 대한 연수기간과 내용의 불균형으로 심층적인 내용의 연수교육은 부족하였다. 3. 컴퓨터실을 담당하고 있는 대부분의 교사가 수업과 컴퓨터실의 관리를 겸하고 있어서 관리요원의 확보가 문제점으로 지적되었다. 4. 각 학교가 보유하고 있는 하드웨어 및 주변기기 그리고 소프트웨어의 양이 매우 부족했으며 현재 보유하고 있는 기종이 주요 교육과정 내용을 수행하기에 적합치 않았다. 5. 컴퓨터 시스템의 선정 및 컴퓨터실의 운영에 대한 확고한 정책이 마련되어 있지 않았다. 6. 현재 컴퓨터실에 대한 설치기준이 마련되어 있지 못하다. 이와같은 문제점을 해결하고 보다 효율적인 상업 및 공업고등학교의 컴퓨터실의 운영을 위하여 다음과 같이 제언한다. 1. 컴퓨터 교육을 위한 자질 있는 교사의 확보를 위하여 현직 교사의 연수뿐 아니라 교육공학과, 상업교육과 및 전산학과등의 관련학과에 컴퓨터교육에 관한 교과과정을 설정하여 담당교사의 양성을 전문화 하는 것이 바람직하다. 그리고 담당교사에 대한 처우개선이 이루어져야한다. 2. 담당교사의 질적향상을 위하여 체계적인 연수과정 및 방법으로 연수교육의 질적향상을 도모해야 한다. 3. 단계적으로 실습조교를 훈련 배치하여 컴퓨터실의 관리요원을 확보해야한다. 4. 교육용 컴퓨터 하드웨어 및 부속 주변기기 그리고 소프트웨어의 확장적인 보급을 위하여 재정적, 행정적 지원체제의 강화가 요구된다. 5. 컴퓨터실의 효율적인 운영을 위하여 일관성 있게 컴퓨터 시스템을 선정하고 관리할 수 있는 정책이 마련되어야 한다. 6. 행정적으로 컴퓨터실에 대한 적절한 설치기준이 마련되어야 한다.
