속회 활동의 신앙공동체 교육적 개선방안

Abstract

신앙공동체 교육을 통한 효과적인 속회 활동 방안을 연구하기 위한 본 논문은 신앙공동체 교육이론을 바람직한 속회교육을 위한 원리로서 제시하고자 하였고, 특히 "간세대적 기독교교육"(Intergenerational Christian Education)이론을 속회활동의 구체적인 개선 이론으로 적용하였다. 소그룹 활동인 속회를 통해, 대형화 되어감으로 파생된 현대 교회의 문제점들을 극복할 수 있는 대안을 찾고자 하였다. 성서적 근거와 역사적 전통을 가지고 있는 감리교회의 속회를 신자들을 그리스도인의 완전에 이르게 하는 효과적인 기독교 교육의 장으로 만들기 위한 방안에 연구의 초점을 맞추었다. 본 논문의 서론인 제1장에서는 연구목적과 방법을 제시 하였다. 제2장에서는 속회활동의 역사성을 이해하기 위하여 영국과 미국 그리고 한국 감리교회의 속회를 역사적으로 고찰하였다. 제3장은 속회활동의 기독교 교육적 의의를 고찰함에 있어 먼저 속회 활동의 성서적 근거를 제시하고 신앙공동체 이론을 적용하여 교육공동체로서의 속회의 역할을 제시하였다. 제4장은 오늘날 한국 감리교회에 필요한 속회활동을 제시하기 위하여 성서적 근거와 J.H.Westerhoff, C.E.Nelson등의 신앙공동체 교육이론의 틀에서 얻어진 바람직한 교육 공동체적 속회 활동모델을 "간세대적 기독교교육"(Intergenera-tional Christian Education)이론을 적용하여 제시하였다. 제5장은 전체의 내용을 총괄하고 결론을 다루었다.; This is a study to research the way of an effeceive Christian education through class meeting. This study presents an education theory of the faith community as a principle for a desirable education of class meeting. Especiaily, "Intergenerational Christion Education" theory is introduced for an improved theory in the real field of class meeting by the aid of class meeting as a small group activity. Besides, this treatise trys to search some ways to solve the problems caused by modern churches which are becoming mammoth. This research is concentrated on the plans to adopt the Methodist class meeting which keeps a scriptural base and a historical tradition as a field of an effective christian education to lead christians to the chritian perfection. This study is composed by 5 chapter as follow : Chapter Ⅰ. It presents the object and method of this study. ChapterⅡ. It historically considers the methodist class meeting in England. America and Korea. to comprehend the history of class meeting. Chapter Ⅲ. In considering the significance of Christian education turough class meeting, it shows a scriptural base of class meeting and also presents the function of class meeting as an education community by taking up the faith community theory. Chapter Ⅳ. To present requisite programs of class meeting for modern Korean Methodist church. a desirable active model of class meeting as an education community is drawn from scriptural bases and the frame of faith community education theory in J. H. Westerhoff, C. E. Nelson etc. And the model is applied to the I.C.E. theory. Chapter Ⅴ. It summarizes the whole study and has a conclusion.
