바이올린 특기·적성 지도를 위한 기초교재 분석 및 지도방안

Abstract

특기·적성 교육활동은 학생의 적성과 창의성을 발달시키며 그들의 다양성을 존중하고 교육의 효과를 높이는데 그 목적이 있다. 또한 학교시설과 인적자원의 활용을 통해 학교 밖 과외활동을 학교 안으로 끌여들여 사교육비를 절감하는 효과도 가진다. 본 연구는 특기·적성 바이올린 교육의 수요가 커져가는 현실을 고려하여 특기·적성 교육의 중요성을 상기하면서 현재 우리나라의 바이올린 기초교본으로 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 시노자키와 호만, 스즈키 교본의 제 1권을 분석하고 이를 토대로 세 교재를 적용한 학습 지도안을 제시하였다. 또한 세 교재가 가지는 장, 단점을 파악하여 특기·적성 교육에서 효과적인 학습이 이루어지도록 하는데 목적이 있다. 세 교재를 분석하고 비교하는데 중점을 둔 것은, 바이올린 학습에 있어서 초보교재의 올바른 선택과 사용이 향후 바이올린 학습에 미치는 영향이 크기 때문이다. 교재 분석 결과 바이올린 교사는 한 교재에만 국한해서 지도할 것이 아니라 학생의 특성, 학습 상황에 대해 고려하여 교재 선택을 하여야 할 것이며, 각 교재의 구성상의 특징을 보완하여 바이올린 테크닉과 음악적인 표현이 함께 발전할 수 있는 체계적인 지도 방법에 대한 연구를 하여야 한다. 제시한 학습지도안은 초급단계의 학생을 대상으로 하며 시노자키와 호만, 스즈키 교재를 병행사용한 지도안으로써 시노자키와 호만 교재의 연습곡을 통한 기본기의 학습과 스즈키 교재의 연주곡을 통한 음악적 표현을 함께 학습함으로써 학생의 바이올린 기량을 높이고 기본기의 지속적인 발전과 향후 스스로 음악적 맥락 안에서 바이올린 테크닉을 적용하고 학습하게 하는데 도움을 주고자 한다. 끝으로 이러한 지도안의 구성이 특기·적성 바이올린 부 교육에 있어 교사들에게 효율적으로 활용되길 바라며 지도안의 개발 뿐 아니라 바이올린 교재에 대한 개발도 이루어지기를 기대한다.;Special gift and aptitude education aims to help students develop their aptitudes and creativity, while respecting their diversity and improving the educational effects. In addition, special gift and aptitude education may have the advantage of saving the private tutoring cost because it uses school facilities and human resources to induce the extracurricular activities outside of school into the school education setting. Assuming that the special gift and aptitude education is important and considering that demands for violin education as part of the special gift and aptitude education are increasing, this study analyzed the volume 1 of Shinozaki, Hohmann and Suzuki textbooks which are used most as basic violin textbook in Korea and thereupon, suggested a learning guide for violin education. The purpose of this study was to examine advantages and disadvantages of the three violin textbooks and thereupon, suggest an effective violin education guide, assuming that it is important to select and use a correct basic violin textbook because selection of a basic violin textbook affects future learning greatly. As a result of analyzing the textbooks, it was confirmed that violin teachers should not use a single textbook uniformly but select an appropriate textbook in consideration of students' characteristics and learning progress, and that they should complement each textbook and thereby, research into a systematic violin education method conducive to students' development of violin performance techniques and musical expressions. The learning guide suggested by this study targets the students at the low level. It was developed by taking advantages of Shinozaki, Hohmann and Suzuki textbooks. Specifically, the part for development of the basic techniques was designed by referring to Shinozaki's and Hohmann's practice pieces, while the part for development of musical expressions was designed by referring to Suzuki's textbook. Hence, the guide may well help students to develop their basic violin performance techniques and refine their music expressions. Lastly, it is hoped that the learning guide will be effectively used by music teachers in charge of violin education as part of the special gift and aptitude education and that this study will be followed up by future studies to develop and improve the learning guide.
