제 7차 교육과정 한국 근현대사 교육의 수업 개선 방안

Abstract

본 연구는 생동감 있고 현실감 있는 역사 수업에 대하여 고민하다가 다양한 자료가 많이 남아있는 사건에 관심을 갖게 된 것으로부터 시작되었다. 그리고 국제사회의 여러 분쟁들을 보며 현재 우리나라에 많은 영향을 미치고 있는 한국 전쟁에 주목하였다. 주제 선택 후 한국전쟁에 대한 교과서 서술과 자료를 살펴보았는데 예전보다 많이 나아졌다고는 하나 여전히 이념 중심의 냉전 구도와 국내적 상황에 국한한 배경설명, 북한에 모든 책임을 넘기는 모습을 확인할 수 있었다. 결국 이에 대한 보완이 필요하다고 생각, 특히 7차 개정 교육과정으로 새로운 교과서가 만들어지는 시점에서 이러한 현장에서의 노력이 의미가 있을 것이라 판단하였다. 따라서 한국전쟁의 국내외적 상황에 대한 인식의 조화를 위해 다양한 시각으로 접근하며 이를 토대로 평화교육으로까지 나아가 올바른 역사 수업에 한층 더 다가가고자 하였다. 이를 실현하기 위하여 7차 교육과정과 국사교과서, 채택률이 높은 두 근현대사 교과서를 중심으로 기존 수업지도안을 작성하였다. 그리고 대안 수업지도안 작성을 위하여 최근의 연구 성과를 검토, 한국사학계의 최근 연구 성과를 정리한 논문과 한국사학계의 연구를 교육학적으로 접근한 논문을 중심으로 분석하였다. 그리고 이 분석을 토대로 7차 개정교육과정을 참고하여 대안 수업지도안을 작성하였다. 이어서 수업지도안의 효과를 검증하기 위해 두 지도안을 바탕으로 수업을 시연, 그 결과를 분석하였다. 이와 함께 동료교사에게 설문평가를 요청하였다. 본 연구는 서울시에 위치하고 있는 특성화 고등학교에 재학 중인 두 학급(인터넷 미디어과 두 반)을 대상으로 수업을 시연하였으며 총 47부(A학급 23명 B학급 24명)를 최종적으로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기존의 이념 중심에서의 시각으로부터 벗어나 한국전쟁에 대한 다양한 시각 다시 말해 국제적 상황과 국내적 상황에 대한 인식이 나타났다. 둘째, 국제적 상황에 대한 인식을 휴전, 전쟁 책임, 성격 규정, 리더의 자질, 평화에서 포괄적으로 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 평화에 대한 구체적인 인식이 나타났다.;This thesis starts from our consideration about a dynamic and realistic history curriculum for students. For this reason, we are interests in certain events whose data still remains in various fields; thinking of several international disputes, we concentrate on Korean War having a huge influence on Korea still now. After deciding the subject of this thesis with Korean War, we have surveyed its present descriptions and data in the schoolbooks. We can confirm that the background of the War is explained only pointing to the ideology from cold war and the local circumstances and all the responsibilities of the War is on North Korea even now. Therefore, we reach to the conclusion that it is essential to complement it, and this kind of effort in the educational circles might be significant at this point of time when a new schoolbook is going to be born contributed to the 7th amendment of curriculum. Hereupon, the various points of view on national and international circumstances of the Korean War can help us to accomplish the correct perception about our history curriculum based on the Peace Education. For its realization, we have made the existing teaching manual based on the 7th curriculum, the Korean history textbook and two(2) modern history textbooks of which adoption rate is high. And, for preparing the alternative teaching manual, we have reviewed and analyzed the present investigation and survey results: mainly on, the thesis analyzing the recent survey results of Korean History Science and the thesis approaching to the survey results of Korean History Science with a pedagogical point of view. And we have made the alternative teaching manual with this analysis and the 7th amendment of curriculum. For verifying the effect of teaching manuals, we have put those two manuals into practice and analyzed their results. Besides, we have requested a questionnaire to fellow teachers. This investigation and survey has been done to two(2) classes (Internet Media) of the Specialized High School located in Seoul; totally 47 subjects (Class A: 23 students and Class B: 24 students) have been analyzed. The results of analysis can be summarized as follows: 1. The students have the more diversified point of view on Korean War free from the existing ideology: that is, the awareness of national & international circumstances is found out. 2. The awareness of international circumstances can be found comprehensively in the truce, the responsibilities of a war, the definition of characteristics, the leader's qualification and peace. 3. The detailed cognition on peace is appeared.
