제7차 고등학교 음악교과서의 소금(小笒)교과내용 분석

Abstract

제7차 교육과정에서는 음악교육과정의 중점내용으로 ‘우리 음악 문화의 창달을 위한 국악교육’이라는 항을 두어 전통음악교육에 대한 중요성을 강조함과 동시에 국악 교육의 비중 또한 매우 높게 편성하였다. 그러나 현재 대다수 음악교사들은 대학에서 서양음악을 전공한 이들로 국악교육에 대한 중요성을 인지하면서도 국악 지도에 상당한 부담을 가지고 있다. 따라서 국악을 전공하지 않은 교사들도 일선현장에서 효율적이고 체계적으로 국악교육을 할 수 있도록 하는 국악 학습지도 방법론 개발이 매우 시급한 실정이다. 특히나 기악은 학생들에게 풍부한 음악적 감수성을 발달시켜 학생들의 음악적 능력이 균형 있게 발달하는데 결정적인 역할을 하는데 국악 악기 중 현재 시중에 시판되는 소금은 플라스틱으로 만들어진 것은 가격이 저렴하고 크기도 휴대하기 간편하다. 또 취구가 넓어 소리내기가 쉽기에 교육용 악기로 적합하다 할 수 있겠다. 고등학교에서의 소금학습은 초․중학교에서 배운 단소와 연계되어 좀 더 수준 있는 국악 기악의 체험을 가능하게 한다. 이러한 소금에 대해서 본 논문에서는 교육용 악기로서 소금에 대한 가치를 살펴보고 교과서를 분석하여 앞으로 교과서에서 소금 교육의 방향을 제시해 보았다. 이를 위해 제7차 교육과정에 의한 8종의 고등학교 음악교과서 중 소금이 다루어진 6종 교과서의 소금 기초이론들을 살펴보았다. 효과적인 소금 지도를 위해 반드시 고려되어야 할 사항인 악기소개, 운지법, 연주자세 및 호흡법, 율명, 정간보, 시김새 등의 항목으로 나누어 교과서에 어떻게 서술되어 있는지와 소금 학습곡을 곡명, 학습목표 및 학습활동 내용, 악보의 유형에 따라 자세하게 비교ㆍ분석하였다. 제7차 교육과정 고등학교 음악 교과서의 소금에 관한 기초이론을 살펴본 결과 소금의 악기소개에 관한 기초적인 설명이 부족했으며 운지법 및 음역과 정간보 등에 관한 내용에서 몇 가지 문제점을 발견할 수 있었다. 제7차 교육과정 음악 교과서에 게재된 소금 학습곡을 살펴 본 결과 게재된 곡 수에 있어1곡에서 5곡까지 큰 차이를 보이고 있었고 게재된 소금 학습곡의 음악장르를 살펴보면 대다수의 소금 학습곡으로 민요를 제시하고 있었으며 정악곡과 창작곡 등을 함께 수록하였다. 연주방법이나 자세 등에 관한 내용이 빈약하고 소금의 연주곡과 제시곡 등도 미흡하여 현 교과서만을 가지고 수업을 한다는 것은 어려움이 따른다고 볼 수 있다. 따라서, 바람직한 방향의 교과서 내용을 제시해 보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일관적이고 연계성 있는 소금수업이 되기 위해서는 초등학교 교육과정에서부터 올바른 연주자세, 악기에 대한 소개, 안공법 등을 포함시켜 중학교, 고등학교 과정까지 순차적으로 단계별 수업이 가능하도록 구성하여야 할 것이다. 둘째, 오선보로만 개제되어 있는 곡들은 반드시 정간보로 제시하여 국악곡을 익히는 수업이 되어야 할 것이다. 셋째, 소금의 적극적인 활용을 위해서 전래동요, 창작곡, 서양음악의 연주 등 다양한 장르를 접하도록 해야 한다. 넷째, 소금을 통한 기악교육이 형식적인 기악 연주영역이 아니라 소금에 대한 충분한 가치를 인정받을 수 있도록 소금에 대한 새로운 관심과 흥미를 유발시켜 전통 음악과 보다 쉽게 접근 할 수 있어야 할 것이다. 소금이 보다 많이 학교 현장에서 학습되기 위해서는 그 내용이 보다 정확하게 서술되어져야 할 것이며, 본 연구가 이를 위한 하나의 기초 자료로 쓰일 수 있길 기대해 본다.;The 7th National Curriculum of education emphasizes the education on Korean traditional Music in order to create and develop our own traditional music and culture. 'Korean Traditional music education for the promotion of our music culture' has been selected as an important idea. But today′s music teachers feel a great amount of pressure on this fact even though they are well aware of its importance. Most of music teachers had specialized in western music at college so they have difficulties to teach Korean traditional so there is a need to develop good guidelines for them so that it could provide lessons of traditional Korean music in an efficient and systematic way. In particular, instruments play a positive role in developing student′s musical abilities by cultivating their musical sensitivity. This study set out to review the values of Sogeum(a small transverse bamboo flute) as an instrument to teach Korean traditional music and to suggest some plans to teach Korean traditional musicusing Sogeum. For those purposes, the instrumental pieces and teaching plans introduced in the current music textbooks in high school were analyzed. Based on the analysis results, the following teaching plans were suggested as follows to be applied to school right away. The first introductory part of this research is a summarization regarding the importance of instrument and music education, the role of the Sogeum for such educations, and some basic theories regarding the Sogeum. (including history, usage, material, posture, breathing and etc.) And an analysis of previous high school music textbooks. Six kinds of high school music textbooks in total were examined. Basic explanations were insufficient, compass, executions and notations were inconsistent. In conclusion, Sogeum is the most simple and portable Korean traditional instrument and has much potential in becoming a popular instrument. Furthermore, playing the Sogeum will be helpful in cultivating one′s mind. In order for the Sogeum to successfully become the most popular Korean traditional instrument, more systematic and adequate education is necessary, and this study can become the first step.
