음악 창작활동을 통한 창의성 계발 사례연구

Abstract

현대 사회는 빠르게 변화하고 새로워지는 가운데 창의적인 인간상을 요구하고 있다. 그러므로 제 7차 교육과정의 교육목표도 학생들의 창의성을 기를 수 있는 방향으로 지향되고 있다. 그러나 학교 교육 현장의 음악교육에서는 여전히 가창중심교육 또는 교과서 중심의 이론교육이 주가 되고 있어 음악교육의 다양한 활동 중 직접적으로 창의성 계발에 기여하는 창작수업이 제대로 이루어지지 않고 있다. 이유는 교사 자신이 학생들에게 창작을 가르치는데 있어 흥미롭고 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 체계적인 지도법을 인지하지 못하고 있으며 또한 교과서에 실려있는 창작부분이 학생들이 쉽게 접근할 수 없도록 구성되어 있기 때문이다. 따라서 본 연구는 개개인의 창의적인 표현이 가능한 창작활동을 통해 음악교육에서 가장 기본이 되며, 제 7차 중학교 음악과 교육과정에서 강조하고 있는 창의성을 계발시키기 위한 방안을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 이론적 기초를 마련하기 위하여 일반적 창의성과 음악교육에서의 창의성, 음악의 여러 분야 중에서 창의성과 가장 직접적으로 연관되어 있는 창작의 음악 교육적 의의를 살펴보았다. 그리고 교과서에 대한 의존도가 높은 우리의 음악 수업에서 창작활동이 효율적으로 이루어지지 않는 원인을 교과서에서 찾고 음악교과서의 창작활동이 강화되어야 한다는 인식에서 제 7차 중학교 1학년 음악과 교육과정의 창작영역 내용과 2004년 현재 대부분의 학교에서 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 상위 5개 출판사의 교과서 창작내용을 창작내용 체계표에 의해 분석하였다. 제 7차 중학교 음악과 교육과정의 창작내용을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교과서 구성에서 ‘창작’은 가창, 기악, 감상 등에 비교하여 보았을 때 지면의 적은 비중을 차지하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 창작의 활동 전개, 자료제시, 과정안내 방법에서, 학생들의 동기와 흥미 유발이 힘든 점이 드러났다. 셋째, 창작지도 내용에 있어서 대부분 구체적인 설명을 수반하지 않았고 학습요소의 제시에 있어서 교수·학습 계획의 수립을 위한 대략의 순서 체계가 없었다. 위의 내용을 종합하면 교과서에 수록된 창작 내용은 교육과정과의 관련성과 통합성이 부족하며 내용들이 구체적으로 제시되어 있지 않고 골고루 분포가 되어 있지 못하다는 것이 나타났다. 이와 같은 분석결과를 토대로 창의성과 창의적인 표현 능력 및 음악의 모든 개념이 교수·학습 과정에서 자연스럽게 습득되고, 습득된 개념을 활용하여 창작하는 과정을 통해서 음악의 창의성이 성장될 수 있도록 학생의 활동을 중심으로 하는 구체적인 사례를 연구하였다. 창작학습이 체계적으로 이루어 질 수 있도록 제 7차 교육과정 창작 교육내용 체계표에서 언급한 창작학습의 요소에 따라 활동내용을 제시하였다. 창작 학습의 요소를 즉흥연주와 작곡활동으로 구분하였으며 창작학습의 요소 중 교과서에서 가장 많이 제시된 요소인-즉흥적 표현, 형식에 의한 가락짓기, 가사에 의한 가락짓기, 가락에 반주붙이기, 악기와 목소리를 선택하여 표현하기-로 구성하였다. 또한, 제 7차 교육과정에서 창작내용 체계표에는 제시되어 있지 않지만 우리 음악 문화의 창달을 위한 국악 교육을 강조하고 교과서에서도 전통음악을 강조하고 있는 것이 특징이라 할 수 있으므로 ‘전통적 가락짓기’의 내용을 포함시켰다. 이러한 지도방안은 여러 지도 방법 중 하나의 가능성을 제시한 것으로 교사는 창작에 대한 작은 시도가 큰 의미를 지닌다는 사실을 바탕으로 학생들에게 다양한 창작의 기회를 주어 자신의 감정이나 생각을 창의적으로 표현할 수 있는 길을 넓혀 나가도록 도와 주어야 한다. 그리고 학생들을 위해 창작 지도법 연구에 최선의 노력을 해야 할 것이다.;Contemporary society requires the creative human image as it rapidly changes and becomes new. Therefore, the educational goal of the 7th educational Process is directed towards developing student's creativity. But the predominance of singing-centered or textbook-centered theoretical education on the schooling field caused that creativity education is still not properly provided for students. The reason is that teachers themselves do not understand any systematic instructional method which is interesting and easily accessible in teaching students and the part of creation contained in the textbook is formed so that students can not be made easily accessible. Hence, this study has a good to grasp for creation teaching strategy for creation -activating education based on the analysis of creation contents system manifested in the curriculum from the 7th middle school music education and the analysis of creation contents reveal in the five kinds of middle school books. For a theoretical background, this study investigated the concepts of creativity and necessity of creativity-practice, and creative music work and good guiding. Next, this study researched contents of creative music education revealed in examining 7th middle school music education. Then, this study analysed original active contents of five textbook for grade 1 in the middle school by systemized table of creative-education which is clarified in the 7th middle school music education. The following conclusions have been drawn from an analysis comparing the creative parts of music lessons from the 7th middle school curriculum with the old music education curriculum: First, it was hard to make students interested and to give a motive force in development of creative activity, finishing data, and guidance of steps. Second, the creative experience was stressed over the structure and from of songs. Third, it does not give specific guidelines on how to promote creativity in students, and it does not have systemized outlining for founding plan of teaching, in exhibiting factors for study. Synthetically, the contents of creativity were not enough in every textbook. Moreover, the specific examples were not in the book, and creation contents were not various. On the outcomes of above analysis, this study tried to present various methods of creative action such as impromptu expressing rhythm and melody, to which special regard for stage was paid, making melody by a from or by a words, accompanying to that melody, forming traditional melody, choosing various musical instruments or voice following by composing, and presentation and criticism so that students parts in the creative activity more closely. The above guides may be parts of various potential creative music guides. Teachers should give students an opportunity of creation based on the fact that a little attempt at creation has a great meaning and help them widen the way to express their own feelings and ideas. Moreover, teachers should do their best efforts to study methods of creative instruction for students.
