職場의 音樂的 環境造成을 爲한 硏究

Abstract

社會가 發展의 速度를 더해감에 따라 우리는 生活의 精神的인 面보다 物質的인 面에 輜重하게 되고 職場生活의 競爭的 雰圍氣에서 오는 精神的 壓迫속에서 情緖的이며 文化的인 生活을 疏忽히 하고 있다. 職場人들은 하루의 大部分을 職場에서 바쁘게 보내고 있는 現實에서 職場에서의 音樂提供은 勤勞者들의 情緖生活에 도움을 주고 이러한 配慮가 勤勞者의 精神的 健康의 增進은 勿論 勤務意慾을 向上시켜 生産性을 높이고 勞使間에 協助雰圍氣를 造成하며 나아가 國家産業發展에도 寄與할 수 있으리라 여겨진다. 우리 社會가 産業社會로 발돋움하고 輸出産業이 隆盛해지자 많은 女性들은 産業의 役軍으로 參與하게 되어 女性勤勞者는 全體 産業勤勞者의 약 40%를 차지하게 되기에 이르렀다. 本 硏究는 특히 이러한 女性 勤勞者들에게 音樂的인 作業環境을 效果的으로 造成하는 점에 착안하여 産業界의 여러 分野에 從事하는 勤勞女性 602名을 對象으로 設問紙 方式을 通해 調査·硏究하였다. 調査의 結果는 다음과 같다. 1. 調査對象者의 거의 大部分이 職場音樂이 必要하다는 反應을 보였으며, 70%以上이 作業中 音樂을 들으면 일의 能率이 오를 것이라는 反應을 보였다. 2. 調査對象者의 반정도가 職場에서 音樂을 提供받는 것으로 나타났으며, 職務別로는 事務職보다 生産職에서 音樂을 接하는 機會가 많은 것으로 나타났다. 音樂을 들려주고 있는 職場들도 아직 일정한 프로그램없이 音樂을 들려주고 있으며, 주로 점심시간을 利用하여 設置되어 있는 스피커나 FM라디오 等을 通해 들려주고 있는 實情이다. 3. 勤勞女性의 音樂的 背景을 살펴보면, 音樂의 嗜好度는 全般的으로 세미클래식을 가장 選好하는 것으로 나타났고, 事務職의 勤勞女性들은 세미클래식을, 生産職의 勤勞女性들은 大衆歌謠를 좋아하는 것으로 나타났다. 音樂을 듣는 場所는 집, 職場, 茶房의 順으로, 音樂을 주로 듣는 時間은 취침 전, 퇴근 후, 다음에 職場에서 점심시간, 勤務時間의 順序로 나타났고, 調査對象者 大部分이 한가지 以上의 樂器를 所持하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 放送프로編成에 關하여서 調査對象者 全體의 54%가 放送音樂中 純粹音樂의 比重을 높이는 것을 希望하였고, 學力과 年齡이 높을수록 純粹音樂의 比重을 높일 것을 願하였으며 學力과 年齡이 낮을수록 大衆歌謠를 좋아하는 比率이 높아져가는 것으로 나타났다. 調査者 大多數가 學窓時節의 音樂時間을 滿足스럽게 보냈고, 社會生活하는데 도움을 준다고 하였으며, 實生活에서는 學校에서 배운 音樂보다 社會에서 알게 된 音樂을 많이 利用하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 調査의 結果 얻어진 結論과 提言을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 音樂은 經濟的 時間的 精神的으로 여러 가지 어려운 與件에 있는 産業勤勞者, 特히 勤勞女性의 情緖生活과 精神安定에 좋은 伴侶者로서의 役割을 해낸다고 생각되며, 職場音樂이 生活性을 向上시킨다는 것은 이미 先進國에서 實驗結果 確認되었으며, 調査結果 勤勞女性이 職場에서 音樂을 듣고자 하는 慾求가 큰 것으로 나타났으므로, 産業界와 音樂界가 關心을 갖는다면 職場音樂은 커다란 負擔없이 이루어질 수 있으리라 생각되며 勤勞女性에게 크게 歡迎받을 것이므로 勸奬되어져야 할 것이다. 職場音樂은 生産性, 向上 外에도 勤勞者들에게 對한 經營層의 關心이 큰 것으로 간주되어 愛社心이 鼓吹되고 勤勞者間은 勿論 勞使間의 和睦한 雰圍氣를 造成하게 된다. 職場音樂이 漸次的으로 普遍化됨으로써 産業界뿐만 아니라 社會全般에 걸쳐 健全한 氣風을 이루는데도 크게 寄與할 것으로 여겨지므로 會社經營層의 關心과 誠意가 要求되어진다.;Our country is rapidly changing into an industrial nation. As the economic system undergoes this fundamental change, there are many side-effects upon social life and social values. First of all, modern industry emphasizes the buying, selling, and manufacture of material goods. Society thus tends to stress the material, more than the spiritual side of life. Secondly, the atmosphere of the modern work place is mentally stressing and physically fatiguing, due in part to the competitive nature of industry. The workers have less time and energy to devote to aesthetic and cultural pastimes. Another social change resulting from industrialization has the ever-increasing implimentation of women workers. Presently, women comprise about 40% of the total industrial work-force. Therefore, this study has examined the desirability of establishing music in the working environment of industrial workers by reviewing the result of a questionnaire collected from 602 women workers who work in various fields of industry. The result of the questionnaire has demonstrated the desire for an increase of the amount of music available to women workers. The provision of music in the work place could be one of the best means to help industrial workers maintain and enjoy an aesthetically fullfilled life. Since the Korean workers are under such stress as they are today, music may very well provide the necessary relief. In other countries, music has been scientifically proven to increase productivity and improve the worker's morale, as well as promote mental health. 70% of the women questioned answered that they felt their work efficiency would increase if they listened to music while working. It thus appears that music in the working place could contribute to industrial development of our country. Considering the importance of music in the lives of our country's working women, perhaps due to their educational and social background, the provision of music in the working place could greatly increase a worker's esteem for the company. The majority of the worker's time is spent at the company and the worker has very little opportunity to hear music, so it seems that the effort of industrial company would be all the more appreciated. Hence a much greater willingness to cooperate with the management would be found among the workers, as well as a more harmonious atmosphere between fellow workers. The provision of music to workers would not be burden to the industrial management, if they are interested in doing so. The sincere interest and cooperation of the management of companies and social moralists are cordially requested. Considering the benefits to the working environment and to the spirit of society as a whole, those in the position of authority also should be encouraged to undertake this project seriously.
