音樂才能과 人性 및 知能間의 相關關係 硏究

Abstract

知能이나 才能, 人性과 같은 낱말들은 모두 추상적인 槪念들이기 때문에 이들간의 有機的인 關係를 硏究한다는 것은 대단히 어려운 일이다. 그러나 現代에 이르러 知能이나 才能, 人性 등을 測定하기 위한 科學的인 道具가 개발됨으로써 以前까지의 피상적이었던 연구들이 보다 科學的이고 客觀的인 방향으로 진천되었고 心理學을 비롯한 많은 분야에서 새로운 연구가 활발히 진행되었다. 따라서 知能과 音樂 才能과의 關係에 대한 연구도 많은 學者들에 의해 이루어졌는데 그 結論은 서로 상반되게 나타났다. 이 상반되는 연구 結果는 모두 나름대로의 科學的인 근거를 제시하고 있으므로 어느 한 쪽에 비중을 두어 단언할 수는 없다. 그러나 本 硏究者는 知能과 音樂 才能과의 相關에 대해 낮다는 쪽보다는 쪽의 學說과 Miller, Re´ve´sz등의 硏究를 참고로 하여 音樂才能과 知能, 그리고 人性 사이의 相關을 硏究하였다. 서울 시내 여자 중학생들에게 표준화 음악 재능 검사, 일반 지능 검사, 일반 인성 검사, 질문지 조사 등을 실시하여 統係 처리한 結果, 知能은 대체로 音樂 才能과 높은 正的 相關이 있는 것으로 나타났고, 노력아 집단의 相關이 全體的으로 낮아서 지능이 낮은 학생도 노력에 따라 音樂 才能이 높을 수 있음을 보여 주었다. 또한 知能이 높은 우수아 집단에서는 음기억, 독보력이 높게 나타났고, 부진아와 지진아 집단에서는 音樂 才能이 의미없는 差로 나타났으며 피아노 교습을 받은 집단을 다른 집단에 비해 퍽 의미있는 수준에서 음악 재능이 높게 나타났다. 人性과 才能과의 관계를 보면 全體的으로 별 相關이 없으나 人性特性別로 볼 때, 활동성, 지배성, 사회성에서 대체로 正的인 相關을 보이며 남향성, 충동성, 사려성 등에서는 대체로 負的 관계가 있음을 볼 수 있다. 반면에 要善導 집단에서는 충동성과 音樂 才能 사이에 대체로 正的 相關이 있으며 그 외의 人性 特性과는 대체로 負的 相關이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 이 집단은 人性이 音樂 才能에 영향을 주고 있다고 보겠다.;All the concepts of terms such as intelligence, talent, and personality are so abstract that the study of organic relation among these is an extremly hard task. However, the cevelopment of scientific measuring instruments for intelligence, talent and personality in modern times enabled us to measure previous superficial concepts in a scientific and objective way, and active progress was made in the new study on many fields including psychology. This resulted in the publications of correlational studies between intelligence and musical talent by many scholors but their conclusions were appeared to be contrary to each other. With the Knowledge of all the results of these contrary studies suggesting scientific ground on their own way, we will not venture to say whether the correlation between musical talent and intelligence is high or not. But the worker of this study researched the correlation of musical talent personality and intelligence with reference to a theory saying the correlation is high and to the studies of Miller, Revesz, etc.. .The results of standardized musical talent test, general intelligence test, general personality test, and questionnaire test which were given for the girls middle school students in Seoul city and were computerized, showed that intelligence had a high positive correlation with musical talent in general, but the correlation of efforts-making student group showed low on the whole. It indicated that even the students with low intelligence could develop their musical talents depending on their efforts. In an excellent group of students with intelligence, the sound memory and music note reading abilities were appeared high. In a group of backward and efforts making students, musical talent differed meaninglessly. In a piano lesson-received group, musical talent were showed high compared with the other group on the meaningful level. In the aspects of correlation between personality and musical talent, any meaningful correlation could not be found on the whole. But in the aspects of personality and, special character, Active, Dominat, and Sociable marked a positive correlation, but Vigorous Impulsive and Reflective marked a negative relation in general. On the contrary, in a guidance-needed group, a positive correlation appeared between Impulsive and musical talent on the whole. On the other side, personality and special character had a negative correlation on the whole. When we consider the above fact, we may conclude that in this group personality excerts an influence on musical talent.
