韓國基督敎 父母의 性道德敎育에 대한 態度硏究

Abstract

本 硏究는 韓國 基督敎 父母들이 性 道德 敎育에 대해 어떠한 態度와 理解를 갖고 있는가와 동시에 그와 關聯된 諸 要因들을 분석하여 알아보려는데 그 目的이 있다. 즉 敎會學校 性 道德 敎育의 必要性의 여부를 中心으로 야기되는 諸 要因들과 關聯을 지어 비교하였다. 따라서 本 硏究에서 究明하고자 하는 문제는 다음과 같다. 1. 韓國 기독교 父母들이 敎會學校에서 性道德 敎育의 必要性을 어느 程度로 갖고 있는가? 2. 敎會 學校의 性道德 敎育의 必要性에 대한 의식과 父母의 어떤 個人的인 要因과 影響이 큰가? 3. 子女들에게 影響이 미칠 父母의 性 倫理觀은 어떠한가? 이를 爲해 本 연구에서는 個人的 要因, 가정 환경 要因, 이성 교제 요인, 敎會 職分別 요인의 4개 要因으로 나눈 46個 문항으로 된 질문지를 사용했으며 그 연구 대상은 敎育的, 經濟的 水準이 높다고 인정되는 서울 中心에 위치한 敎會 5年 以上된 敎人으로서 國民學校 4, 5, 6學年 父母任을 대상으로 하였다. 첫째, 基督敎 父母들은 性 道德 敎育의 必要性을 약 81%로서 높게 인식하고 있으며 性 문제도 사회적으로 重要한 문제로 인식하고 있는 父母가 98%로서 높은 傾向을 나타내고 있다. 둘째, 基督敎 父母들은 父母의 敎育 程度나 生活 水準이 높을수록 性 道德 敎育의 必要性을 많이 느끼며 또한 가정 환경 분위기와 父母의 敎育 態度가 民主的일 때 性 道德 敎育의 關心과 必要性을 높게 나타냈다. 셋째, 基督敎 父母들은 性 道德 敎育의 必要性을 높게 갖는 반면에, 父母들의 단편적이고 枝葉的인 性 知識으로 과거 傳統的인 思考方式과 단순한 律法的인 면에 치중함을 볼 수 있으며 職分者와 평신도의 2集團 간의 차이는 문제 영역에 따라 差를 나타냈다. 즉 일반적으로 보수적인 傾向에는 集團間에 別差없이 나타난데 비해 律法的인 면에도 평신도 보다 직분자에게서 높은 傾向을 보였다. 그러므로 急變하는 韓國 社會에서 成長하는 靑少年들을 위하여 교회가 性 道德 敎育에 대한 關心을 가져야 하며 그 方向은 전통적 價値觀에 입각한 고루한 것이 아니라 새로운 가치관의 提示와 함께 보다 구체적이며 開放的인 敎育이 이루어져야 하겠다는 것을 알게 되었다. 이러한 方向이 제시되도록 교회학교 敎育의 內容에 대한 계속적인 硏究와 改革이 있어야 될 것이다.;This is a study on the attitude of Korean Christian parents toward the sex education in the church schools. It also gives some analyses on the socio-economic and educational factors which have influenced such attitude toward sex education in the church schools. Thus, the following questions are asked in this study : 1) Do Korean Christian parents feel the need of sex education in the church schools? 2) What would have influenced the need of sex education in the church schools? 3) What kind of attitude do the Korean Christian parents have on sex and sex morality. In order to answer these questions, questionnaire with 46 questions was distributed to the Christian parents in the churches in the Seoul area. The parents are selected from those who attended the church for more than 5 years and from those who have children in the 4th, 5th and 6th grades. The questionnaire is intended in part to see the correlation between their attitude to the sex education in the church schools and their socio-economic, educational and other backgrounds in the family. The analyses have shown the following : 1) Korean Christian parents who returned the questionnaire have shown the strong interest in the sex education in the church schools. Some 81% of the parents indicated the need for such education in the Christian context. This must be due to the fact that some 98% of parents responded with the feeling that sex morality of Korean society is now on the danger level. 2) The higher the parents' educational background and relative to their "liberal" attitude the need for sex education in the church schools? 3) In spite of the fact that the majority of parents indicated the importance of the sex education in the church schools, the study shows that the parents' understanding in the sex ethics is relatively low and that the parents' attitude toward the content of sex education in the church schools is highly conservative. What they have in mind when they feel the need for the sex education in church schools is that the church school needs more repressive and conservative teachings on sex and the problems of sex morality. Interestingly enough the church officers have shown this attitude more strongly than the lay people in the church It is the conclusion of this study that some form of sex education is urgently needed in church schools to meet the challenge of the rapidly changing society like Korea. But the further study is needed on the direction, forms and contents of such education in the church schools, which should not be old style, conservative or repressive.
